HIGHLIGHTS: Lake View baseball team hosts Lubbock Estacado, recognizes top teachers
SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — The Lake View High School baseball team hosted Lubbock Estacado on Most Valuable Educators Night for the Chiefs on Tuesday, but the Matadors spoiled the fun with a 5-0 victory.
Lake View assistant principal Dennis Padilla threw out the first pitch on this special night that was about more than just baseball.

Estacado improved to 9-14-1 overall and 5-5 in district. The Matadors and Chiefs are currently tied for third place. Lake View dropped to 5-17-1 and 5-5.
The Chiefs will travel to Levelland on Friday. Lake View has just four games left in the regular season. The final home game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 15 against Lubbock-Cooper Liberty.
