Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan presides over military graduation at Kenitra's Royal College
Under the directives of King Mohammed VI, Supreme Commander and Chief of the General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR), Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan presided on Wednesday over the graduation ceremony for the Higher Defense Course and the Staff Course at the Royal College of Higher Military Education (CREMS) in Kenitra. Upon his arrival at CREMS, Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan was welcomed by the Army Corps General, Inspector General of the FAR and Commander of the Southern Zone, as well as the Colonel Major, Director of CREMS. He then reviewed a detachment of the Royal Air Forces presenting honors, according to a statement from the General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces. He was then greeted by the Army Corps General, Commander of the Royal Gendarmerie; senior officers from the FAR General Staff; the Wali of the Rabat-Salé-Kenitra region; the Governor of Kenitra Province; the Commanding Officer of the Kenitra Garrison; and members of the academic staff. Following a presentation on «The Role of the FAR in Border Security», Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan awarded certificates of higher military education, specialized master's degrees in national defense, and staff diplomas to both Moroccan and international officer trainees from the Higher Defense Course and the Staff Course. The Colonel Major, Director of CREMS, also presented him with a selection of the trainees' academic work, including research theses produced by graduates of the Higher Defense Course. The ceremony concluded with a commemorative photo of Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan with the two graduating classes. This year's graduates include 296 officers from the 25th class of the Higher Defense Course and the 59th class of the Staff Course, among them 77 officers representing 28 different countries.

Morocco's Crown Prince Hosts Dinner in Celebration of FAR's 69th Anniversary
Rabat — Morocco's Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan led Rabat's Officers' Mess to celebrate the 69th birthday of Morocco's Royal Armed Forces (FAR). The Crown Prince represented King Mohammed VI, FAR's Supreme Commander and Chief of General Staff. The Army Corps General greeted the Crown Prince as he arrived at the venue. Following this welcome, Prince Moulay El Hassan inspected a Headquarters Battalion detachment that performed ceremonial honors, according to military officials. A lineup of top military and government leaders paid their respects to the Crown Prince after the inspection. These included the Head of Government, the National Defense Administration Minister, the Royal Gendarmerie Commander, the Chief of the FAR's 3rd Bureau, the Royal Air Forces Inspector, the Royal Navy Inspector, and the Delegated Arms Commander for the Rabat-Sale area. The guest list for the royal lunch featured Moroccan leadership, including government officials, parliamentary leaders, royal advisors, judicial authorities, constitutional body presidents, senior military officers, and foreign military attaches stationed in Rabat. Military installations across Morocco also celebrated the 69th anniversary of the creation of FAR, with flag raisings, public readings of the King's special message, decoration ceremonies for distinguished service, and formal military parades. The event marks nearly seven decades since the establishment of Morocco's modern military forces, which operate under the direct authority of the King. Earlier today, King Mohammed VI addressed an order of the day to FAR's officers, non-commissioned officers, and privates on the same occasion. His message recognized FAR's relentless efforts to preserve Morocco's peace and security. The King also commended Morocco's military contribution to the UN's international peacekeeping missions, urging them to fortify their capabilities to face challenges and unprecedented regional and international disruptions. King Mohammed VI launches strategic disaster response platform in Rabat-Salé-Kénitra
DR King Mohammed VI, accompanied by Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan, inaugurated the construction of the essential goods reserve platform for the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region on Wednesday, in the commune of Ameur (Salé prefecture). This project embodies the Moroccan vision of resilience and rapid mobilization in the event of disasters. It aligns with the royal directives aimed at equipping each region of the Kingdom with a storage platform for essential goods—tents, blankets, beds, medicines, foodstuffs—to ensure an immediate response to crises such as floods, earthquakes, or industrial accidents. The Rabat-Salé-Kénitra platform will be built on a 20-hectare site, with a completion timeline of 12 months and a budget of 287.5 million dirhams. It will notably include four warehouses of 5,000 m² each, two shelters for oversized equipment of 2,500 m², a helipad, and several parking areas. This project is part of a comprehensive national program, presented to the Sovereign on this occasion, which plans for the creation of twelve similar platforms with a total investment of 7 billion dirhams: 2 billion for infrastructure and 5 billion for the acquisition of equipment and relief products. These platforms will collectively cover an area of 240 hectares and will house 36 warehouses, with their size adjusted to the population density and risk profile of each region. For the six most populous regions—Casablanca-Settat, Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, Marrakech-Safi, Fès-Meknès, Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima, and Souss-Massa—the platforms will include four warehouses totaling 20,000 m² each. The other six regions—the Oriental, Béni Mellal-Khénifra, Drâa-Tafilalet, Guelmim-Oued Noun, Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra, and Dakhla-Oued Ed Dahab—will have two warehouses totaling 10,000 m². The planned stocks are intended to enable a rapid response in case of disaster, meeting the rescue, aid, and victim care needs, in line with the proactive royal vision. The planned equipment covers several areas: emergency housing with 200,000 versatile tents, camp beds, mattresses, and blankets; feeding the victims through mobile kitchens and bakeries, and food kits; supplying drinking water and electricity thanks to purification systems and mobile generators; developing intervention capacities to combat floods, earthquakes, landslides, mudslides, or chemical and radiological risks. The medical component plans for the reserve of six field hospitals with 50 beds in a first phase, and six more in a second, with operating modules and specialized services. Advanced medical posts will be installed on the disaster sites, complementing reserves of medicines adapted to immediate needs. These platforms will strengthen national emergency infrastructures, streamline the delivery of aid, and improve the Kingdom's ability to face crises. They will also allow for the creation of sufficient reserves to meet three times the needs generated by the Al Haouz earthquake. The program will further contribute to structuring a national ecosystem for the production of relief equipment. The sites have been chosen based on security criteria, following a detailed analysis of regional needs and risks, relying on the best practices and international standards.
