Tipperary teen killed in tragic road crash lauded as a 'beautiful girl' who always 'had a smile on her face'

Tributes are flooding in for a young woman who tragically died after the car she was driving entered the water in Co Tipperary. Bronagh English of Clonmel died on Thursday night (April 25) at Kilmoyler, Cahir, Co Tipperary, after the car she was travelling in left the road at Kilaldry Bridge, Kilmoyler and entered the River Aherlow. Bronagh was the driver and sole occupant of the car at the time of the incident. Tributes are flooding in for a young woman who tragically died after the car she was driving entered the water in Co Tipperary. Taking to social media following the tragic loss, Moyle Rovers Ladies Football club paid tribute to their former player. 'We are all very shocked and deeply saddened by the news of the death of Brónagh English in a car accident last night. Brónagh played with our club for a short while at a young age. Her sister Mia is a current player, her brothers play with the Moyle Rovers club and her family have been great supporters over many years,' the post began. 'As we mourn the very sad passing of a talented young life and former player our sympathies go out to Brónagh's family and we will do all we can to help and support them in whatever way we can. 'As a mark of our respect all Ladies Football activities in Monroe are suspended for the weekend,' they added. 'The Tipp LGFA Feile will not be played in Monroe as was scheduled for Sunday and our U15 girls have respectfully withdrawn from the competition. Tomorrow's U14 League Semi Final has also been postponed. Sunday's Senior League Semi Final has been postponed. 'May Brónagh rest in peace and our thoughts and prayers to her heartbroken family,' the post concluded. Many were quick to take to the comments, paying their respects to a life lost too soon. May her gentle soul rest in peace. Sincere condolences to all her family and friends,' one follower shared. 'Absolutely devastating for the English family and Bronagh's friends. RIP Bronagh. May you get the softest bed in heaven xx' another penned. 'RIP Bronagh a beautiful young lady taken to soon my condolences to her family and friends,' a third wrote. Bronagh's body was recovered from the water this morning by members of the Garda Water Unit and has been removed from the scene to the mortuary where a post mortem examination is due to take place. Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or been in the Kilmoyler to please contact them. Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling on the L3101 or in the Kilmoyler area between 10pm and midnight last night are asked to make this available to investigating Gardaí.
