Surveillance cameras set up under ‘Nammaku Name' scheme

Surveillance cameras
costing 13.59 lakh, were installed in the Airport ward of
Trichy corporation
under the 'Nammaku Naame' scheme. The surveillance system includes a control room.
Mayor Mu Anbazhagan
, along with other officials, inaugurated the facility. Deputy commissioner of police T Easwaran operated and inspected the system. The ceremony was attended by zonal president T Durga Devi, assistant commissioner S N Shanmugam, assistant commissioner of police T Vijayakumar, executives of the residents' welfare association, and members of the public.
