Jordan welcomes Swedish court ruling in Kasasbeh murder case

AMMAN — Jordan on Monday welcomed a Swedish court ruling, handing down life sentence to criminal Osama Krayem for his role in the horrific crime that led to the death of Jordanian pilot Muath Kasasbeh. Minister of Government Communication and Governemnt Spokesperson Mohammad Momani said that all relevant national institutions had closely followed the case and provided full cooperation and support to the Swedish judicial authorities. He affirmed Jordan's full confidence in the legal and judicial process that led to the ruling, praising the Swedish system for its professionalism.
