IESCO launches ‘Apna Meter Apni Reading' App
ISLAMABAD: The Chief Executive Officer of Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO), Muhammad Naeem Jan, announced that as part of the Government of Pakistan and Ministry of Energy (Power Division)'s ongoing customer-friendly initiatives, a new advanced technology-based application—Apna Meter Apni Reading—has been launched. IESCO chief vows uninterrupted power supply during Ashura
ISLAMABAD: IESCO Chief Executive Muhammad Naeem Jan has reaffirmed the commitment to provide uninterrupted power supply and excellent services during Muharram, especially on the day of Ashura. The IESCO Chief stated that all necessary arrangements have been finalized in this regard. Field officers are in full coordination with district administrations, majalis organizers, and administrative committees. In view of possible feeder faults and tripping, thorough patrolling of all 11kV feeders has been conducted. IESCO region: Uninterrupted power supply directed
ISLAMABAD: As the monsoon rains continue across the country, including the IESCO region, Chief Executive Officer IESCO, Muhammad Naeem Jan, has issued special directives to all field formations to ensure uninterrupted power supply and prompt restoration of faults and tripping in the system. In his official communication, CEO emphasized the need for comprehensive monitoring and patrolling of all 11 KV feeders. He directed field staff to immediately rectify any identified faults, including issues with jumpers, cross-arms, insulators, stay wires, weak points, and other technical deficiencies. He further instructed that the availability of essential equipment such as transformers, electric poles, meters and other necessary materials must be ensured in all offices to deal effectively with any emergency.
