Mini Crossword In case you missed Friday's NYT Mini, you can find the answers here: The NYT Mini is a quick and dirty version of the newspaper's larger and long-running crossword. Most days, there are between three and five clues in each direction on a five by five grid, but the puzzles are sometimes larger, especially on Saturdays. Unlike its larger sibling, the NYT Mini crossword is free to play on the New York Times website or NYT Games app. However, you'll need an NYT Games subscription to access previous puzzles in the archives. The NYT Mini is a fun daily distraction that usually takes no time at all. I try to beat the standard weekday grid in less than a minute. But sometimes I can't quite figure out one or two clues and need to reveal the answer. Ed Sheeran to play surprise set at Radio 1's Big Weekend

More than 100,000 fans are expected to attend Big Weekend in Liverpool, which will have about 100 acts performing across four rest of the weekend will see Sam Fender headline on Saturday evening and Mumford & Sons on Odell, Sugababes, Myles Smith and Wolf Alice will also be playing the Main Stage on McRae, Lola Young, Jorja Smith, Wet Leg and HAIM will be hitting the Main Stage on the final day of the festival. The final preparations for BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend are under way in than 100,000 music fans are expected to attend the festival, which takes place from Friday to Sunday at Sefton Park, featuring stars including Sam Fender, Mumford & Sons and the have been complaints from residents about road closures and restricted park access but one local told BBC North West Tonight: "It is brilliant for the city, attracts visitors and it's great for the local people as well - so for me it's a win". Another agreed: "I think it's a positive thing for the city because it brings in tourism." The festival is the biggest ticketed event ever to be held in the local schools nearby will close on Friday, except for students sitting their residents have been warned to expect road closures and public access to some areas being blocked by high resident who lives near Sefton Park admitted it was "annoying" that he would have to visit another park to walk his dog but still welcomed the Radio 1 event being held in Liverpool, saying "it's good for the city".For Dan Parker, singer for Liverpool-based quartet Keyside, their performance on the BBC Introducing stage "means everything – it's a massive thing to get a chance to play in your hometown". "Liverpool is one of the capitals of culture, it's a city of music so it's inspired us. It's in everything we do, the way we sing - we keep the Liverpool tone," he City Council previously defended spending £250,000 to host the event, saying the money had come from its events budget and the festival was great PR for big events, such as Eurovision and the Giants parades, have generated many millions of pounds for the area's economy. About 90% of tickets for the Big Weekend have gone to people living in the region with the red half of the city expected to continue the party when Liverpool FC hold their Premier League title-winning bus parade on Bank Holiday Monday. When Sefton Park gates open and acts start for Radio 1 Big Weekend 2025 in Liverpool

Radio 1's Big Weekend is set to take over Sefton Park this week, marking the first time the festival has visited Liverpool. An estimated 100,000 fans will flock to the area with preparations nearly complete for opening day. The festival takes place each year in a different location across the UK, with a superstar lineup curated by the radio station. This year's big names include Sam Fender, Mumford & Sons, Tate McRae, Sugababes, Haim, JADE, AJ Tracey, Myles Smith, Wet Leg, Blossoms, Lola Young and many more. The festival will open at different times across the weekend, with each event expected to end at 10pm. There will be several hours of grace before the first act will take to each stage.
