Open-air fire ban issued in London, Ont.

Municipal officials have put an open-air fire ban in place for the city of London.
That includes all bonfires, chimneys, fire tables, and fire pits.
The ban does not include propane or natural gas barbecues, or propane fire pits and pots.
City staff say all active burn permits are suspended and new ones will not be issued while the ban is in effect.
At this point, there is no timeline for how long that will be.
