Jordan's Shloul named new head of Arab Kickboxing Federation
Ammon News - Arab Kickboxing Federation (AKF) announced appointment of Murad Shloul as its Secretary-General.
The federation also named several other Jordanian athletes for several main and subsidiary committees and positions, as Mahmoud Shawarbeh will assume the position of Assistant Secretary for Administrative Affairs.
Additionally, Dr. Basma Jaber was appointed as Assistant Secretary-General for Administrative Affairs, and Wael Yahia will take over the position of Treasurer.
In a press statement, Shloul said the AKF committees' reshuffle to distribute positions across various Arab countries aims to attract skilled athletes to advance kickboxing sports at the regional level.
Shloul added that the reshuffle comes as part of a "strategic" plan aimed at expanding the base of joint Arab "institutional" action, enhance role of Arab competencies in outlining overall kickboxing policies.
