Bruce Springsteen Biopic Starring Jeremy Allen White Gets October Release Date
The Bruce Springsteen biopic is coming out this fall. On Friday, Disney Live Action and 20th Century Studios announced that Deliver Me From Nowhere, starring Jeremy Allen White as The Boss, will premiere in theaters on Oct. 24. The Scott Cooper-directed film will focus on the making of Nebraska, Springsteen's 1982 record. Alongside White, Jeremy Strong is set to star as Springsteen's manager Jon Landeau, Stephen Graham will play Springsteen's father, Odessa Young will play his love interest Faye, and Paul Walter Hauser will play guitar tech Mike Batlan. 'Beginning production on this film is an incredibly humbling and thrilling journey,' Cooper said in a statement last October. 'Bruce Springsteen's Nebraska has profoundly shaped my artistic vision. The album's raw, unvarnished portrayal of life's trials and resilience resonates deeply with me.' When discussing his portrayal of Landeau, Strong told Variety earlier this year, 'I don't think I've ever encountered a person's body of work or their legacy in a way that uplifted me more or filled me with a sense of life and hope and love more than Bruce Springsteen.' He added, 'Jeremy [Allen White]'s work is incredible. Bruce is on set a lot. We're all kind of working on it together. It's a real collaboration.' The new premiere date comes seven months after a first-look photo of Allen as Springsteen was shared with the public: the actor is seen wearing a leather jacket and a plaid flannel button-down. In conversation with Zach Bryan for Rolling Stone's Musicians on Musicians, Springsteen shared: 'I've seen the scripts, and I've talked to the director. They're just putting it all together, so I don't have an awful lot to say about it, but I'm excited about it happening … It's an interesting story, and the script is really good. I feel good about the whole project.' Watch Lisa and Tyla's Steamy 'When I'm With You' Music Video
Another day, another slay from music's mononymous divas, LISA and Tyla. The White Lotus star and 'Bliss' hitmaker teamed up for a steamy song, 'When I'm With You.' Luckily for Blinks and Tygers, the girlies blessed us with a music video that's equally as hot just in time for the summer. Of course, the singers did not come to play in the fashion department. They were dripping in crystallized outfits, mini skirts, and strappy heels galore. As a matter of fact, let me pin these looks to my summer mood board real quick. If the 'baddest back to back' provided by LISA and Tyla wasn't enough, they brought even more star power to the track with cameos from a few celeb friends. Mason Gooding showed up sans a shirt with his inked skin on full display as LISA danced on him. A moment of silence as I catch my breath: Oh, and to keep the good vibes going, LISA and Tyla tapped two of the biggest stars of last summer for the video, too. Love Island USA's Leah Kateb and Miguel Harichi exited the villa for a poolside date night. 'When I'm With You' comes off LISA's debut solo album, Alter Ego, but the musicians go way back. During a Musicians on Musicians interview for Rolling Stone in October 2024, they truly couldn't stop gushing when they shared their first impressions of each other. 'I remember the first day I knew about you was from the 'Water' challenge,' LISA told the Grammy winner at the time. 'You, dancing onstage, pouring water, and I was like, 'Oh, my God, who is she?' And I started to follow your stuff more and more.' Tyla also praised the 'Rockstar' singer, saying, 'Girl, in Blackpink, you were my favorite. You brought some edge to the group, which was so cool. Your rapping and just the way you moved and the way you dressed was so cool. Me and my best friend would watch those videos all the time.' Now, they're maximizing their joint slay in the music video for their too hot to handle summer collab, 'When I'm With You.'
