Rumors are circulating about the potential release date of Stranger Things Season 5 trailer. The iconic series premiered on Netflix on July 15, 2016. Season 2 came out on October 27, 2017, followed by Season 3 on July 4, 2019. The fourth season was split into two parts, dropping on May 27, 2022, and July 1, 2022. The upcoming fifth and final chapter of the series has been split into three parts that will all release in the last quarter of 2025. According to industry scooper @MyTimeToShineH, the trailer for Stranger Things is coming out on July 15. 'A brand new trailer for Stranger Things 5 is reportedly dropping tomorrow,' they shared on X (formerly Twitter). However, other sources suggest that it will release a day later, on July 16. For instance, Netflix Junkie cited the Stranger Things Instagram broadcast channel (via @turtymeck) to note the following enigmatic message: 'Signal detected: locking in at 7-1-6.' This reportedly appears to suggest that the trailer is releasing this Wednesday. In February 2022, before the release of the fourth season, Netflix renewed Stranger Things for the fifth and final season. The series creators, Matt and Ross Duffer, penned a letter to fans, teasing that while the exploration of the world of Stranger Things will continue, the main show will end with the fifth chapter. 'There are still many more exciting stories to tell within the world of Stranger Things; new mysteries, new adventures, new unexpected heroes,' the Duffer brothers wrote. 'But first we hope you stay with us as we finish this tale' (via Netflix). Stranger Things Season 5 has eight episodes. Part 1, comprising four episodes, will drop on Netflix on November 26, 2025. Part 2 will then come out on December 25, 2025, with three episodes. The series finale will begin streaming on Netflix on December 31, 2025.

Sabrina Carpenter Rumored For Marvel MCU Role
The Marvel Cinematic Universe has several high-profile projects in the works, including a new X-Men movie that will reintroduce the iconic superhero franchise as a full-fledged part of the MCU. As such, many big stars are in talks to appear in the project or its follow-ups, and now Sabrina Carpenter is the latest to be rumored for a role in the MCU. While Carpenter is finding ongoing success for her music career, she does have experience in acting, and previously appeared in the likes of 2016's Adventures in Babysitting and 2022's Emergency . Now, according to insider @MyTimeToShineH on X, Carpenter could be setting her sights on playing a major superhero next. In fact, the insider claims to know which part Carpenter is in talks for with Marvel Studios. Excitingly enough, it's a part that would be perfect for Carpenter, especially if the character becomes a recurring figure in the MCU's plans for the X-Men franchise. The following rumor should be taken with a grain of salt, but according to the insider, Sabrina Carpenter is specifically in talks to play the X-Men character Dazzler. The fan-favorite superhero is known for having a double life as a hugely successful popstar. With the success of Carpenter's music career and other similar pop stars like Taylor Swift, many fans have been eager to see Dazzler up on the big screen. In fact, Swift is one other celebrity that's been consistently rumored to play Dazzler in the MCU. With casting in such early stages, however, it's unknown who exactly Marvel Studios has talked to and whether or not Dazzler is even in the mix. If the rumor is to be believed, however, then Sabrina Carpenter could be a great choice for Dazzler in a new X-Men project even if it isn't someone else like Taylor Swift. As always, we'll have to see how this situation develops. Hopefully we'll have more concrete info soon regarding the possibility of Sabrina Carpenter joining the MCU, however, especially with Dazzler being such a perfect fit for her to play.

'Superman' Post-Credits Scene Rumored To Have Been Revealed
We're less than a few weeks away from the release of James Gunn's Superman in theaters. Fans are eager to see how the iconic superhero will be reinvented and whether or not the studio's plans for the DC Universe will succeed. On that note, the post-credits scene for Superman has been rumored to have been revealed online. The use of post-credits scenes for superhero movies has become a norm. It allows franchises to continue setting up new projects and get fans excited for what's to come. Naturally, fans are eager to know if Superman will follow that trend, and if so how it will set up the larger DC Universe as a result, since this is the first film of the new franchise. According to insider @MyTimeToShineH, however, it looks like Superman could be taking a different direction regarding its own use of post-credits scenes. While the following information should be taken with a grain of salt, here's what they had to share: 'Superman has two post credits scenes, one is Superman with Krypto on the moon looking at the Earth,' the insider claims, referencing a scene that has been shown in promotional materials for the film. The insider also alleges that there's a second post-credits scene as well, though it's played more for laughs than anything else: 'The second is Superman and Mister Terrific looking at a giant crack in a massive building because the ground split in half during the finale and Supes says it's crooked and Terrific gets all annoyed and walks away and kicks a rock. It's a funny scene.' Obviously some fans would have enjoyed seeing a tease for the next DCU project. However, James Gunn is clearly taking a different route when compared to franchises like the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While these post-credits scenes have yet to be confirmed, he has previously stated that the DCU movies will be more stand-alone while building a bigger world, and it looks like these scenes could fit with that statement. James Gunn's Superman will hit theaters on July 11, 2025. Stay tuned to ScreenGeek for any additional updates regarding the highly-anticipated DCU blockbuster as we have them.

Bella Ramsey Reportedly Eyed For 'Big' Marvel MCU Role
Bella Ramsey became a household name for The Last of Us, a live-action HBO series based on the video game franchise of the same name. Now it looks like Marvel Studios could be eyeing Bella Ramsey for a role in the MCU. As the Marvel Cinematic Universe continues to grow, so does its need for major stars, so it's no surprise that Ramsey's name made it to the studio's list. As shared via insider @MyTimeToShineH on X, this role would be a 'big' one for the shared multimedia franchise. With the MCU comprising both theatrical films and television, including their own Disney Plus exclusives and specials, there are endless ways Bella Ramsey could appear in a future project. And, if it's a big role, that means Ramsey could be a recurring character that might have a part to play in both movies and television. Here's what the insider shared: Bella Ramsey is being eyed for a big Marvel role. Who would you like to see them play in the MCU? — MyTimeToShineHello (@MyTimeToShineH) June 6, 2025 Of course, there wasn't much information shared beyond the fact that the role would be 'big,' so it's still unknown what part she could play if they were chosen for the MCU. However, with the studio introducing a new X-Men reboot, that potential superhero team alone could feature a number of characters suitable for Ramsey. Additionally, with a Young Avengers movie and several Multiverse-centric projects on the way, Ramsey could play a member of the titular superhero team or any number of variants for heroes that have already been established in the MCU. Ultimately, Marvel Studios could come up with any number of spots for Ramsey to fit into the franchise, so we'll have to see what happens on that front. Stay tuned to ScreenGeek for any additional Marvel Cinematic Universe updates as we have them, including whether or not Bella Ramsey could have the opportunity to play in the MCU as a major character going forward.

Doctor Doom's Rumored Sinister Interest in Franklin Richards Might Shape the Future of The MCU — GeekTyrant
There's a new rumor floating through the Marvel multiverse that could reframe how The Fantastic Four: First Steps connects to Avengers: Doomsday , andit involves Doctor Doom, Franklin Richards, and some very ominous plans. According to insider @MyTimeToShineH, 'Doom will take Franklin Richards and will use him for his plans.' That's a major claim, and if it holds water, it not only positions Doom as a central threat but also ties Marvel's First Family directly to the multiversal chaos unfolding in the Avengers films. Now, let's talk about Franklin Richards. This isn't just some sidekick-level character. On the page, Franklin is the son of Mister Fantastic and the Invisible Woman, and he's considered one of the most powerful beings in the entire Marvel Universe. We're talking cosmic-level, possibly omniversal-level. Franklin has reality-warping powers so vast, and in the comics Roma, the guardian of all realities, once said he was equal to the Celestials. He can astral project without range limits, manipulate time, and create life from nothing. He's formed entire planets, resurrected the dead, and even created a pocket universe. Oh, and he can also throw The Thing across a room with a single thought using his bio-blast telekinesis. If Doctor Doom sets his sights on that kind of power, it makes sense why the Fantastic Four would pursue him, or maybe send Franklin away to Earth-616 to protect him, inadvertently luring Doom there in the process. The upcoming First Steps post-credits scene reportedly hints at this connection. We still don't know if Robert Downey Jr.'s Victor Von Doom is from the same universe as the new Fantastic Four. If he is, that sets the stage for an emotionally and dramatically tangled relationship. If he isn't, it might mean Doom is chasing Franklin across realities, which makes the threat even more intense. Franklin isn't just another super-powered kid. He's a walking, talking reset button for reality. That makes him both a target and a weapon, and if Doom gets control of him, Avengers: Doomsday might live up to its title in ways the multiverse isn't ready for. Whether this is Marvel's plan or just well-informed speculation, it's exactly the kind of connective tissue that could make the next chapter of the MCU feel less like a reboot and more like an epic culmination. Either way, it seems Franklin Richards could be the key to everything.
