Where to see fireworks displays near you: 16 shows around central Indiana
If you like bright lights in the sky and loud booms, July Fourth is your kind of holiday. The next three days offer multiple opportunities around central Indiana to celebrate the nation's birthday with fireworks. Here's a rundown: Avon, 6-10 p.m. Avon Town Hall Park will host a free celebration, Night at the Park, with food trucks, a petting zoo (with pony rides!), and live music before fireworks at 10 p.m. Beech Grove, 5:30-10 p.m. All American Day in the Park. Food, music and fireworks at the Sarah T. Bolton Park, 1300 Churchman Ave. There will be a kids zone, wrestling, a DJ, and tons of food vendors. The fireworks begin at 10 p.m. Broad Ripple, 10 p.m. In its 51st year, the Meredith Smith Memorial Fireworks Show will light up the White River along Broad Ripple on the eve of the Fourth of July. Franklin, 5:30-10:10 p.m. The Franklin Amphitheater will feature live music, food vendors, a beer garden, and a fireworks finale at 10:10 p.m.. The Franklin Community Band and Blue River Band will kick off the celebration at 5:30. Indianapolis, 6-10 p.m. The Fourth Fest free celebration is expected to draw nearly 25,000 people to the heart of downtown Indianapolis. The celebration kicks off at 6 p.m. on St. Clair Street and American Legion Mall with food trucks galore and a Kids Zone. At 10 p.m., there will be a fireworks display from the Indiana War Memorial Grounds. Indianapolis Indians, 6:35 p.m. game with fireworks afterwards. Snag tickets for the Indians' Fourth of July annual game against the Louisville Bats in Victory Field at the corner of West and Maryland. The game starts at 6:35 p.m. and is followed by a firework 10 a.m.-10 p.m. The July Fourth celebration starts at 10 a.m. with the Brownsburg Lions Club Parade featuring more than 65 floats. At 7:30 p.m., the Cool City Band will perform at the Town Hall Green. A fireworks show will end the night at 10 p.m. from Lincolnwood Park, 315 W. Main Street. Carmel, 12-10 p.m. The two-day CarmelFest begins July 3, running from 1 to 10 p.m. with band performances from The Beatless, Cease & Resist, and more. July 4 kicks off with a parade at 10:30 a.m. and ends in a firework show at 9:45 p.m. Cicero, 10 p.m. The Lights over Morse Lake festival includes a weekend of events that features a fireworks extravaganza on July Fourth, set off from a barge in the lake. Seating will be available on the Jackson Street Bridge, Red Bridge Park and Main Street. Fishers, 10 p.m. Fishers Parks will have three fireworks shows. The Nickel Park District Amp Lawn Fireworks will feature a free concert by local performer My Yellow Rickshaw at 8 p.m., and fireworks from the north of Hamilton East Public Library at 10. Cyntheanne Park, 1283 Cyntheanne Road, and the Geist Reservoir will also have shows. See the Geist fireworks from the south end of Fall Creek Bridge for boat or waterfront property views. No viewing will be allowed from Fall Creek Bridge or Geist Marina. Lawrence, 10 a.m.-10 p.m. The Lawrence Fourth Fest in Community Park, 5301 N. Franklin Road, has a parade, kickball games, concerts, car shows, ending with a firework display at 10 p.m. A skateboarding contest featuring pro skater Casper Jones will occur at 4 p.m., and local performers will take the stage from 6 to 9:30 p.m. Westfield, 4-10 p.m. Grand Parks Event Center, 19000 Grand Parks Blvd., will host a day with food, kids' activities, live entertainment, and a 10 p.m. fireworks show. Mooresville, 6-10 p.m. Pioneer Park, 1101 Indianapolis Road, will feature live music, local eats and a fireworks show at dusk. Noblesville, 4-10 p.m. A Fourth of July parade will kick off at 4 p.m. Forest Park, 701 Cicero Road, followed by a 10 p.m. fireworks display. Zionsville, 5-10 p.m. Zionsville Lions Park, 11053 Sycamore Street, will host fun, food and fireworks starting at 5 p.m.

Fourth of July 2025: Where to watch fireworks in Indy
Friday is the Fourth of July, and Central Indiana is celebrating our nation turning 249 years old by filling the night sky with red, white and blue bursts of freedom that will probably freak out your dog. Zoom in: To make sure your holiday weekend is lit, here are 10 places to catch a fireworks show in the Indy area. Downtown Indy's Fourth Fest is back for a third year of celebrating at the American Legion Mall. A street festival featuring live music, food trucks and a kids zone starts at 6pm Friday. Fireworks, shot from the top of the building at 500 N. Meridian, start at 10pm and will be synced to patriotic jams aired on local Radio One radio stations. Organizers suggest the Indiana War Memorial Grounds and American Legion Mall as the best viewing spots. Victory Field is delivering baseball with a boom during its July 4th celebration Friday night. After the Indianapolis Indians and Louisville Bats game that starts at 6:35pm, stick around for a postgame fireworks show. The team will also wear specialty July Fourth jerseys that will be auctioned off to benefit Indianapolis Indians Charities. CarmelFest will pack two days of patriotism and partying into Carmel's Civic Square, and chairs are already lining the streets of the suburb as people pick prime spots for the parade that starts at 10am Friday. Fireworks, which start at 9:45pm Friday, will be synchronized to music on WHJE 91.3 All American Day in the Park brings fireworks to Beech Grove on Thursday night. The party starts at 5:30pm in Sara T. Bolton Park with food, music and WCWO pro wrestling, followed by fireworks around 10pm. Night at the Park in Avon is having pre-holiday fireworks as well. Food trucks, live face painting, pony rides and more get rolling at 6pm Thursday. Fireworks begin at 10pm. The Lawrence 4th Fest will kick things off at 10am Friday with a parade, followed by a fish fry, kickball games, a classic car show, food trucks, live music and more. The free event at Lawrence Community Park ends with a 40-minute fireworks show starting at 10pm. Fishers has a trio of fireworks shows around 10pm Friday during a citywide Independence Day celebration. Fireworks will be launched from the north parking lot of Hamilton East Public Library in the Nickel Plate District, from Cyntheanne Park and from the barge in Geist Marina. My Yellow Rickshaw is playing a free show at 8pm before the fireworks on the Nickel Plate District AMP stage. Noblesville will host a July Fourth parade downtown at 4pm Friday followed by a free festival in Forest Park from 6-10pm. Westfield Rocks the 4th at the Grand Park Sports Campus runs from 4-10:30pm Friday.
