Hong Kong actress Myolie Wu (胡杏儿) is putting all the divorce rumours to rest. Following much speculation of a rocky marriage, the star shared new photos of the pair to shut the rumours down. Yesterday (19th June 2025, Thursday), Myolie shared a new post on her Instagram account. The post features pictures taken in Dunhuang, China, a city known for its desert. The star wrote in her captions, 'Dunhuang, such a beautiful place. How can I not take more photos? It was a beautiful and unforgettable experience!' However, what caught netizens' attention was that the photos included the star and her husband, businessman Philip Lee (李乘德). In the photos, the couple were hand-in-hand while standing in the vast desert. Philip shared more pictures of the pair's trip on his Instagram account. While many praised the beautiful photos, some quipped that the couple are trying to dispel the divorce allegations. In the past few months, Myolie and her husband have been facing rumours of separation after Philip was caught hugging several women in a club in Hong Kong. The businessman and his wife clarified the incident, with Myolie even saying it was all a misunderstanding. However, fans weren't convinced the former TVB actress was okay with the situation. Earlier this June, a photo of Myolie dining in a restaurant with friends garnered attention because eagle-eyed netizens noticed the mother-of-three wasn't wearing her wedding ring. Since the actress never removes her wedding ring unless for work, this incident sparked rumours that Myolie and Philip were having marital issues. While the actress never addressed this matter, she did share photos of Philip and their son during Father's Day and wrote a message for her husband. In the post, the 45-year-old wrote, 'To our most loving daddy, happy Father's Day!!' Unfortunately, it seems the divorce rumours will never leave Myolie and Philip. Myolie Wu lands historic role as Magnolia Awards juror
26 May - Myolie Wu has become the first Hong Kong actress to be appointed to the jury for the Magnolia Awards, specifically for Foreign TV Drama. As reported on Oriental Daily, the actress, who has starred in multiple mainland series since leaving TVB in recent years, expressed her gratitude for the appointment, saying, "The Magnolia Award is a very important award in the Chinese TV drama industry. I feel very honoured to be invited to serve as one of the judges of the event." Admitting that she had never thought that she would become a judge, Myolie sincerely thanked the organisers for their recognition and trust in her. "I will actively prepare for the task in the near future. I will go to Shanghai at the end of June to participate in the TV Festival activities and watch the shortlisted foreign dramas. I will go all out to complete this new challenge," she added. She will be joined by German filmmaker Henk Handloegten and President of the China Film Performance Society Chen Bauguo.
