Dude features Pradeep Ranganathan in the lead. He previously directed Comali and eventually made his acting debut with Love Today. He then scored a blockbuster with Dragon. Pradeep is paired opposite Mamitha Baiju in Dude. She is best known to the Tamil audience for her work in Rebel. The actress is also part of Vijay's Jana Nayagan.
