Lokesh presents copies of coffee-table book on ‘Yuvagalam Padayatra' to Pawan, Ministers
IT & HRD Minister N. Lokesh presented copies of the coffee-table book on his 'Yuvagalam Padayatra' to Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan at the Secretariat on Wednesday. He also presented the book to Ministers Payyavula Keshav, Vangalapudi Anitha, K. Atchannaidu, Nadendla Manohar, P. Narayana, D. Bala Veeranjaneya Swamy, Y. Satya Kumar, Kolusu Parthasarathy, . Farooq, T.G. Bharat, Anagani Satya Prasad, S. Savitha, Gottipati Ravi Kumar, Kollu Ravindra, Nimmala Rama Naidu, G. Sandhya Rani, V. Subhash and Kondapalli Srinivas. Receiving the book, Mr. Pawan Kalyan said the 'Yuvagalam Padayatra' had a profound impact on the people, and it awakened them to the danger of re-electing the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) for which self-interests mattered the most than the development of the State and public well-being. He praised Mr. Lokesh for giving a vivid detail of the experiences gained by him during his marathon walk across the State, while noting that it had been exactly one year since the YSRCP's misrule had come to an end.

Krishna University achieves 100% placement in pharmacy, engineering departments, students get pat from Minister
Krishna University (KRU) College of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research and KRU College of Engineering and Technology have achieved 100% placement rate, with the highest package offered being ₹7.2 lakh per annum. According to information from the university, this is the first time that all students were placed during the drive. Minister for Mines Kollu Ravindra, who participated as the chief guest in the 'Achievers' Day' programme, organised by the university to felicitate students on the campus in Machilipatnam on Thursday (May 15), appreciated the efforts of the management for ensuring a 100% placement rate for engineering and pharmacy students. Later, he announced that a ₹45 crore worth proposal for the development of Krishna University is being readied and would be put before Minister for Human Resource Development N. Lokesh for the sanction of funds. The Minister also said efforts are being made to pave way for a mega industrial park at Thummalapalem village in Machilipatnam mandal of Krishna district. The Minister encouraged the youth to study hard and get a job to make their parents, who strove all their lives to ensure a good education for them, proud and happy. Krishna District In Charge Collector Gitanjali Sharma, also present on the occasion, informed the students that there are many opportunities in the private sector and that they need not be stuck in the same field or job for years. She encouraged them to work in fields other than engineering. According to the university, all 51 students from the KRU College of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research who attended the placements received job offers. Five companies, including Divis, Hetero, MSNL, Laurus Labs, MedPlus took part in the placements. The average starting salary package was ₹3 to ₹4 lakh per annum. At KRU College of Engineering and Technology, all 204 students in the two departments of Computer Science and Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering were placed. Gamma Stack Pvt. Ltd offered the highest of ₹4.15 lakh per annum to a student of computer science, while electronics students bagged a Central government job, offering ₹7.2 lakh per annum. The Minister felicitated the students on the occasion.

Lokesh calls for grand conduct of Mahanadu in Kadapa from May 27
TDP national general secretary and IT Minister N. Lokesh on Wednesday took stock of the arrangements for the party's three -day annual conclave, Mahanadu,scheduled to be organised in Kadapa from May 27, in a meeting with the convener and co-conveners of the organising committees. It was stated in a press release that the first day's discussions would be focused on the TDP's policies and action plans. Resolutions would be passed on the government's development and welfare programme on the second day. These would culminate in a public meeting on the third and final day. Mr. Lokesh and other party leaders also deliberated on the conduct of Mahanadu in the Parliamentary and Assembly constituencies' headquarters. He told the organisers to make the State-level Mahanadu, being held in Kadapa for the first time, a grand success by clearly delegating responsibilities to the Ministers and senior leaders. He said the TDP had always organised the Mahanadu in a grand manner, whether it was in power or in the Opposition, as per the tradition set by its founder N.T. Rama Rao, with focus on doing good to the people. Mr. Lokesh observed that the TDP faced many challenges in its 43 years of existence, but bounced back with renewed vigour with the support of the leaders and cadres, whose commitment to the people's welfare was commendable. The TDP secured an unprecedented majority in the 2024 elections, and no effort should be spared to live up to the people's expectations, he exhorted.
