Story of Fame and Downfall Nadikar follows the journey of David Padikkal, a hugely popular Malayalam superstar whose arrogance and ego spiral out of control after tasting success. His career soon takes a hit, with box-office failures piling up. In a bid to save his career, David reaches out to Ann Bava (Bhavana), a fellow actor and his former girlfriend, for help. The film portrays David's battle to regain his stardom while confronting his flaws. It mixes moments of humour, drama and introspection, showing the struggles of a celebrity whose fame begins to fade. Divya Pillai plays David's wife, Stella Padikkal, while Soubin Shahir, Balu Varghese, Suresh Krishna, Maala Parvathy and Althaf Salim feature in key supporting roles. Special appearances from Lal, Dhyan Sreenivasan and Shine Tom Chacko add extra star power. Behind the Scenes Written by Suvin Somasekharan and directed by Lal Jr., the movie is a satirical take on the fragile nature of stardom.
