NASCAR Texas qualifying live results: Cup Series sets starting lineup
It's time to set the field for the NASCAR Texas race. The WURTH 400 is set for 2:30 p.m. CT on May 4 at Texas Motor Speedway. First up, however, the NASCAR Cup Series kicks off its race weekend with a practice session and a qualifying session. Advertisement Practice will feature two groups of cars, each having 25 minutes on track. Qualifying will be a one-lap, single car session. Christopher Bell hits inside wall, crashes big at NASCAR Talladega race
Christopher Bell took a hard hit in the opening stage of the NASCAR Cup Series Talladega race. Bell was racing side-by-side with Chris Buescher when Bell's No. 20 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota spun coming off turn 2 and collected Chris Buescher on lap 52 of the April 27 Jack Link's 500 at Talldega Superspeedway. Advertisement Bell's car slammed into the inside wall virtually head-on and destroyed the front end. Ryan Blaney crashes in NASCAR Talladega race, fourth DNF of 2025 season
Ryan Blaney ran into some problems early in the NASCAR Cup Series Talladega race and suffered his fourth DNF of the early 2025 season. Blaney dove down to make a pit stop on lap 43 of the April 27 Jack Link's 500 at Talldega Superspeedway and was hit by Kyle Busch and Brad Keselowski, who were spinning toward the entrance of pit road. Advertisement Blaney's No. 12 Team Penske Ford slid through the tri-oval at Talladega and came to a stop in the infield grass.
