Archer Review Bridges the Preparation Gap for NCLEX Test Takers
DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The NCSBN has released the NCLEX pass rates for Q1 of 2025 (January - March). Compared to Q1 of 2024, NCLEX pass rates have dropped in all categories. With large scale drops in both first time test takers and with internationally educated test takers. Archer Review Bridges the Preparation Gap for NCLEX test takers. Students using Archer Review continue to pass at 99+% compared to dropping NCLEX pass rates across the rest of the market. When the NCSBN first launched Next Generation NCLEX (or NGN), pass rates jumped substantially. But now with rates slipping again, it showcases that these newer cohorts of students need additional assistance in preparing for the NCLEX, especially those that are repeat test takers or were internationally educated. First time US Educated test takers saw a drop of 5.78% from 94.15% to 88.37% First time Internationally educated test takers saw a drop of 12.22% from 58.77% to 46.55% Internationally educated repeat test takers saw the largest drop of 13.90% from 44.05% to 30.15% Because of the high NCLEX pass rates when Next Generation NCLEX was first launched, many students and schools assumed that only a question bank (or qbank) was needed to properly prepare the exam. However, with the significant drop in pass rates it is important to note that other study tools can help students pass at higher rates. Archer Review not only offers a comprehensive qbank but also has a variety of other prep products to help raise students' confidence, cover areas there may be education gaps and to help support students with different learning styles. Additionally Archer Review has a 99% pass rate for students that score at least 'high' on 4-consecutive readiness examinations. 'Every student deserves a fair shot at success, no matter where they start,' said Director of Nursing at Archer Review Rachel Taylor, 'That's why we're committed to dismantling barriers in nursing education with accessible tools and inclusive strategies that meet learners where they are." Sure PASS includes Qbank access, 65 unfolding case studies, access to live rapid review webinars, and a fully structured study path to help students know exactly where to start when prepping, We also offer private tutoring for students that may need more 1-on-1 education opportunities. With dozens of free webinars and other products like intense prep, Archer Review hopes to help bridge the gap for students that may feel less than confident going into their NCLEX exam. "Innovation in nursing education isn't about flash but function,' said Morgan Taylor, Chief Nursing Officer at Archer Review, 'It's about giving students what actually works when they need it most. Archer Review blends technology, mentorship, and strategy to deliver real outcomes, not just promises." Reports on NCLEX statistics are presented by the NCSBN on a quarterly basis to review the previous quarter's performance results. The next quarter, April through June, will present results from the greatest number of students that take the test throughout the year, including the most recent graduates from the spring 2025 semester. Freeman Health nurse grads sign contracts amid cheers
JOPLIN, Mo. — Almost thirty new nurses have been released into the world. Freeman Health System says it held a graduation ceremony for its nurses Tuesday night; a graduation ceremony officials say is unique to this area, resembling athletic signing day celebrations most often seen in high schools and universities. These graduate nurses have completed their two years of schooling but have yet to take their National Council Licensure Examinations (NCLEX) to become registered nurses. Freeman Health System officials say these graduating nurses signed their names on the dotted lines, loved ones looking on as it happened, while the cheers of their future Freeman co-workers were present to encourage them and celebrate their accomplishments over the past couple of years. 'I am very appreciative of those around me and how hard they've worked to become nurses,' said Camrie Davis, a graduate nurse who will work for Freeman orthopaedics. 'Anybody who you went to school with, they all become a sort of fellowship to you.' Freeman officials say nurses serve as 'linchpins to any functional hospital or healthcare system. 'A patient spends five percent of their time with a physician and about 95 percent of their time with a nurse or nurse tech. So, it is truly vital to us that we bring nurses into our system who are consistent with our mission, vision, values. I think we're confident today that everyone joining the team fits that bill,' said Freeman Health System & CEO Matt Fry. Chaos Ensues as Bride Refuses to Plan Her Wedding: 'Everyone Is Scrambling to Try to Throw Something Together'
A bride's family is in disarray as she refuses to organize her own wedding She won't commit to a bridal shower or bachelorette party, but moved the wedding date up one year, leaving the family scrambling "Is it normal for the bride to be so hands-off without hiring an event planner?" the Redditor askedA bride's family is trying to help her plan her wedding, but the woman has shown little interest in prepping for her big day. In a post to Reddit's r/bridezillas forum, the bride's sister, who has been shouldering most of the work with the maid of honor, expressed concern about the rapidly approaching nuptials and the many details that still need to be sorted out. The wedding was initially set to take place in the summer months of 2026, but the bride and groom decided to move the date up one year. Now "everyone is scrambling to try to throw something together," the sister wrote — except for the couple. Though the bride's sister and her maid of honor have been doing their best to plan the nuptials, the bride also won't commit to any dates for a bridal shower or bachelorette party. "I'm in law school, and MoH is in nursing school. I'll be working two jobs this summer and MoH is taking her NCLEX in june, so the scheduling of certain events is really important for both of us to schedule around, and the bride refuses to make any decisions or commit to certain dates," the Redditor wrote. "Finally, when [the maid of honor] tried to communicate ... the bride sent her fiancé to essentially intimidate [her]," the sister wrote. "He told her 'she doesn't understand how her words affect the bride.'" The groom then sent the maid of honor a longer text, scolding her for not "doing a good enough job." He told her she was "required" to float any ideas past other members of the bridal party, and then sent a screenshot of the conversation to the entire wedding party. "i have never been to a wedding before, and none of my close friends are married, so i don't know if this is normal behavior. are we right to be frustrated by this? is it normal for the bride to be so hands off without hiring an event planner?" the Redditor asked. Never miss a story — sign up for to stay up-to-date on the best of what PEOPLE has to offer, from celebrity news to compelling human interest stories. Those in the comments unanimously agreed that the bride was being unreasonable. One user called the upcoming wedding a "no-win situation" — even if the sister and maid of honor planned the most beautiful day, it would still disappoint the bride because she never gave any input. Others questioned if the bride is actually ready to get married, as someone who's looking forward to the wedding should want to have a hand in planning it. Even if planning isn't the bride's thing — it's not everyone's cup of tea — a wedding planner or even an elopement are much more feasible options, another comment read. Another chimed in: "I'd be out and never speak to the bride again. No one's wedding should stress you out this much, and no one's wedding should have priority over your career."
