2 hotel pool deals you should know about
New Orleans has two new options for diving into hotel pools this summer that you should know about.
Why it matters: Have you seen the forecast lately? We're burnin' up down here.
Zoom in: The first deal is called the NOLA Pool Passport and was organized through WGNO's parent company.
For $64, you can score drop-in access to six local pools through the end of July 2026, according to the website. Visits just have to be booked at least 48 hours in advance.
The pools include the Dew Drop Inn, The Country Club, the Virgin Hotel, the Royal Sonesta, the Blue Crawfish and the Lost Coyote, all of which typically charge drop-in fees per visit.
The second new pool deal to know starts July 21 and comes from Uptown restaurant Mister Mao, which partnered with the Maidstone, which took over the Drifter's property.
Day passes are $30 and available from 11am to 8pm daily. Plus, they include a cocktail. Food service is available from noon to 8pm.
Cabanas are free to use from Monday to Wednesday, but cost $400 and include six guests on Thursdays through Sundays.
