Shrawan Mahotsav celeebrated at PU, MMC
Patna: City-based Magadh Mahila College (MMC) and the PG department of philosophy, Patna University, students celebrated Sawan Mahotsav with gaiety and enthusiasm here on Saturday. At the MMC, the campus came alive with colour, rhythm, and festive spirit as the celebrations included beautifully organised mehendi and dance competitions in which a large number of students participated. College principal N P Verma presided over the event. The results of both the mehendi and dance competitions were declared by the panel of judges, followed by loud cheers and celebration from the crowd. The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by the assistant general secretary, expressing gratitude to the participants, faculty, audience, and organising team for making the event a grand success. Meanwhile, the PG department of philosophy, Patna University, organised inter departmental mehendi competition on Saturday to celebrate Sawan Mahotsava. About 20 participants from different departments, Hindi, Sanskrit, English, Philosophy, Persian, Urdu participated in the event.
