Two small out of control wildfires found near Bridgetown, N.S.
Some residents of the Bridgetown, N.S., area are being told to prepare to evacuate as two small wildfires rage out of control in the region Wednesday night.
The Nova Scotia Emergency Management said a fire at Hoyt Lake is estimated to be three-to-four hectares while the fire at Long Lake is believed to be 0.1 hectares.
Department of Natural Resources crews and contracted helicopters are heading to both fires.
Residents of the 4800 block of West Dalhousie Road near Godfrey Lake have been warned about a possible evacuation due to the Hoyt Lake fire.
