NTPC Green Energy declares commercial operation of 110.25 MW from Khavda-I Solar Project in Gujarat

NTPC Green Energy Limited has announced that 110.25 MW out of the 1,255 MW Khavda-I Solar PV Project in Gujarat has been declared commercially operational as of June 6, 2025. The project is developed by NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC REL), a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy and step-down subsidiary of NTPC Limited .
With this commissioning, the total installed and commercial capacity of the NTPC Group has reached 80,265 MW, reaffirming its position as India's largest power producer. The declaration was made under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
The Khavda-I Solar PV Project is one of NTPC's key renewable energy initiatives as it continues to expand its green energy portfolio under its subsidiary, NTPC Green Energy Limited.
