Robin Thicke swarmed by fans as he serenades crowd at Hamptons event following honeymoon with April Love Geary

Robin Thicke took over the Hamptons this weekend at a charity event where he serenaded the crowd before he was unexpectedly swarmed by female fans. The 48-year-old singer performed at NYC Second Chance Rescue's 4th Annual Hamptons Benefit 'Concert For A Cause' on Friday. Robin made a fashion statement as he took the stage in a white suit with no shirt underneath, which he paired with multiple gold necklaces, white boots and his usual black sunglasses. His appearance in Bridgehampton, New York, - at a private residence owned by Ken and Maria Fishel - took place days after he returned from a romantic honeymoon in French Polynesia with his wife April Love Geary, 30. On August 8, Robin took the stage, asking the crowd, 'You guys ready to party?' He began on the piano as he sang his hit 'Magic' as the majority of the crowd took out their phones to record The Masked Singer judge as he serenaded his fans. Afterwards, he told the crowd, 'It's great to be here. This song goes out to all the beautiful ladies in the house,' as he began signing 'Lost Without U.' The 48-year-old took the stage in a svelte white suit with no shirt underneath and paired it with multiple gold necklaces and his usual black sunglasses His third song, 'Let's Stay Together,' had his female fans swooning over Robin as he slow danced onstage by himself and grooved to the love song. Transitioning into upbeat music for his fourth and final song, he closed his mini concert with the hit 'Blurred Lines,' which became the talk of 2013 when he came out with the music video featuring T.I. and Pharrell Williams - and later thrust the model starring in it, Emily Ratajkowski, into the spotlight. It was when he made his way into the crowd, however, that his fans went crazy, with the singer performing the pop melody in the middle of the dance floor. Robin thanked everyone as he concluded his set and attempted to make a quick exit. Prior to his performance, NYC Second Chance Rescue founders Jennifer Brooks and Lisa Blanco honored actress and passionate advocate Christine Evangelista, star of Fear the Walking Dead, with the Angel Award. 'It's a pretty unique American story. We believe in second changes, we give second chances. We love a redemption arc - just look at Robert Downey Jr. or everybody's favorite Martha Stewart,' she said during her acceptance speech. 'We are made and drawn to, and root for the underdog in healing and transforming. And that's what makes rescue work so profound. 'These creatures, they teach us empathy and gratitude and they open our hearts in ways we never have imagined. That's why I'm very proud to support NYC Second Chance Rescue.' The 38-year-old shared her touching story of using the non-profit organization - that provides medical care to cats and dogs through their foster care system and brick-and-mortar shelter - to adopt her dog. The event, which raised over $206,000 for the charity, was also attended by special guest Melissa Gorga of the Real Housewives of New Jersey, who helped host the evening, as well as The White Lotus actress Alexandra Daddario and singer-songwriter Celina Savage who performed during cocktail hour. NYC Second Chance Rescue wrote on their Instagram that it was a special night that 'celebrated 16,000 lives saved and raised vital funds to save even more.' 'Every year, millions of animals lose their lives in shelters across the nation due to overcrowding, abuse, and neglect. But Friday night was living proof that, together, we can be the change they need,' they stated. Robin, who took photos earlier in the night, was seen holding one of the charity's rescue dogs as he posed for photos with the organization's leaders. He appeared in good spirits following his honeymoon, which took place in the private island of Tetiaroa in French Polynesia. He and April wed on May 30 at a resort in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, on Friday, May 30, following a six-year engagement. The model captioned a series of PDA-filled photos from her honeymoon, 'Honeymoon is over…but I feel like our life is a never ending honeymoon? Thank you [The Brando resort] for the best week of our lives! 'Truly one of the best resorts I've ever stayed at. The staff, the restaurants, the location - all amazing. And thank you [InterContinental Tahiti Resort & Spa] for our last night before our early flight home!' Robin and April have three children together: daughters Mia Love, seven, and Lola Alain, six, and son Luca Patrick, four. The singer also has a 15-year-old son, Julian Fuego, from his previous marriage to Paula Patton.

Tears as Dog With 'Emotional Support Stuffy' Spends 314th Night in Shelter

NYC Second Chance Rescue posted to Instagram on January 30 a video of a long-term shelter dog, Rudy. The 2-year-old dog has struggled to find a forever family despite being a snuggle bug. The video caption explained that Rudy loves to curl up on people's laps and gives endless kisses. Rudy always carries his "emotional support stuffy," as seen in the Instagram video posted to the account @nycscr. The blanket was wrapped around his entire body, covering his ears and tied under his snout. It gives him a sense of safety while he trotted back to his kennel for day number 314 in the shelter. Dogs often gravitate toward blankets because of the warmth and soft textures they provide, according to Wag Walking. Blankets make dogs feel safe and warm in a comfortable and familiar environment, as stress and anxiety can exacerbate these behaviors. Because of how long he's been in the shelter, the rescue organization believes he will benefit from basic training and a "nice, long decompression phase." However, staff have already seen significant progress during his time in their care. The Instagram video had reached over 728,000 views and 51,800 likes as of Thursday, with people flooding the comment section with hopeful messages for Rudy. "Such a cutie patootie! I hope he finds his forever home soon. I love how he's wrapped up in a burrito blankie. I love to do the same to my doggo too," a viewer wrote. Another person commented: "Oh, what a sweetheart. I hope someone steps up and gives him the chance he deserves, he has such a sweet energy about him." A third commenter said: "Rudy and his fuzzy blanket!! OMG so sweet! A loving family has got to be out there for you." Thankfully, Rudy's forever family finally came through for him. A representative from the rescue organization told Newsweek that after months of waiting for Rudy's family, his happy ending arrived yesterday. The person shared: "We have some incredible news: Rudy was just adopted TODAY!" Do you have funny and adorable videos or pictures of your pet you want to share?
