The sell-out $11.50 item from Chemist Warehouse that's got everyone talking: 'Lost for words'
A Chemist Warehouse employee has revealed the sell-out $11.49 item she can't get enough of - after thousands of beauty fans raved about it. Jess, a retail manager from Melbourne, tried the 'viral' NYX Lip Hydrating Gloss Serum to see if it lived up to the hype. The beauty buy, available in a lineup of 10 shades, has been flying off the shelves for leaving lips deeply hydrated for up to 12 hours with a wash of colour. The formula goes on like a glossy, vibrant colour - ranging from pinks to deep hues - or can be wiped away to reveal a natural-looking lip stain. 'I am shocked! Lost for words, literally... I get the hype now,' Jess said in her video after swiping the glossy lip stain over her lips. 'There really isn't many other products sold at Chemist Warehouse that works like this product does. 'Watch this become a new staple for me! I'm looking forward to wearing this tomorrow to see how long the stain lasts for.' She was impressed with the formula after using the shade 'Drippin In Rose'. 'Oh my god, pure shock,' Jess said. 'I'm sure like everybody else, you have seen this on your TikTok non-stop and I have been hanging to grab one for myself and try it. 'What this does is it gives you a beautiful glossy lip but it also leaves a stain. You can absolutely leave the gloss on. They're designed to be worn both ways. The shine on this as a gloss is beautiful.' At first, she found the shade quite 'bold', but once she removed it, she was pleasantly surprised by the soft pink shade left on her lips. 'I am not normally a bold lip kind of girl but if I was ever going to go a bold lip this is actually probably right up my alley,' she explained. To achieve a lip stain effect, wear the gloss for up to 10 minutes before wiping it off. Jess was stunned by the lip stain results after removing the gloss with tissue. 'Look I'm new to the lip stain game so this is probably why I am extra shocked but I don't know how I could possibly ever use another lip product,' she said. 'It's so good. I can't believe other brands haven't jumped on the lip stains. 'I'm going to try and get my hands on the Hydra Honey next.' Her video has been viewed nearly 20,000 times across her social media platforms, with many saying they have been struggling to get their hands on the popular item. 'I really want to try the Hydra Honey and Drippin In Rose but out of stock all around Melbourne CBD area,' one revealed. 'I need this,' another said. Many confirmed the gloss serums were 'gorgeous', 'brilliant' and the perfect affordable alternative to expensive brands. Fans of the brand have given the product a near-perfect 4.6 stars out of 5. 'This is my favourite lip product, I love the stain and it lasts all day,' one said. 'Love everything about this product... otherwise the formula and colour is amazing,' another raved. 'Love this gloss which is also a tint. When the non-sticky gloss shine disappears it leaves a lovely subtle "stain" which lasts for hours. Great for the price and a lot better than other pricey brands which do not work as well as this,' one revealed. 'I have bought a few of these in different colours and the Bubblegum Burst is probably my favourite. A bit more natural looking for a nice stain. My recommendation would be to leave it on for at least five minutes (the longer the better) and then blot it off with a tissue rather than wiping it. It still only stays on for about half the day for me doing this but it's a pretty affordable lip stain,' another added.

A new era of innovation
As AI tools were still finding their place in the creative world, Create., a regional agency known for pushing boundaries, was already making history. The brief? Bring to life the 600-year-old story of Diriyah's role in the Hajj pilgrimage – without any archival imagery, relying solely on oral records. What Diriyah had was a vision. For centuries, Diriyah served as a vital stop for pilgrims journeying to Makkah. But its story – and that of the Imams who safeguarded these routes – had faded from public memory. With a bold challenge from the passionate team at Diriyah Gate Development Authority (DGDA), Create. partnered with Manga Productions to build what history never documented: two fully visualised films capturing the legacy of these spiritual guardians and the city that protected them. Commenting on how this campaign was brought to life, Dana Al-Azem, Business Director, Create., said, 'AI was the tool, but culture was the canvas. Our goal wasn't just awareness—it was connection.' Using AI tools such as Midjourney and detailed research, the team recreated historically accurate visuals – down to clothing, portraits and environments – based on sketches from Manga Productions and approved by the Saudi Royal Court. These weren't merely imaginative illustrations, but deeply researched visual narratives rooted in oral history and brought into the digital age. Tamara Qaisieh, Senior Account Director, Create., added, 'Diriyah has countless stories to tell, and we used innovative tools like Midjourney to bring this one to life – turning a lack of archival material into an opportunity for creative, youth-driven storytelling.' The resulting campaign, Diriyah: The Road to Hajj, struck a powerful cultural chord –setting a new regional benchmark for AI-powered storytelling. The campaign also won Gold at both the NYX and VEGA Awards in the Social Campaign category – cementing Create.'s position at the forefront of culturally driven innovation in the region. This campaign – along with a series of other key initiatives such as the Diriyah Global Seminar, Saudi Founding Day and Eid celebrations at Diriyah, created in partnership with DGDA – helped reintroduce Diriyah's rich heritage to the world. Together, these projects supported Saudi Vision 2030's goal of spotlighting the Kingdom's past while embracing the future through innovation and digital storytelling. Campaign results at a glance: 31.7 million impressions 31.9 million video views 767,000 social engagements 10,000 new followers on Diriyah's platforms 78 per cent increase in positive sentiment Diriyah: The Road to Hajj was only the beginning. Since the success of the Diriyah campaign, Create.'s presence in the Kingdom has grown significantly. Their expanding client roster includes Public Investment Fund, NEOM, The Royal Commission for AlUla, and Kimpton Hotels, and more. Their ongoing partnership with Diriyah Gate Development Authority continues to thrive –with Create. most recently providing live, multi-location coverage of Founding Day celebrations, sparking national pride, unity, and cultural connection. Driving this momentum is Mahmoud Shaban, newly appointed Business Lead for KSA, leading a team that fuses bold creativity with cultural authenticity – crafting stories that bridge past and future, and resonate from our region, to far beyond our borders. 'This is just the beginning of how we'll use AI to preserve and elevate the region's stories,' Shaban said. Buidling on the success of the Diriyah campaign, Create. has gone on to pioneer other AI-powered experiences such as a groundbreaking course portal for Dubai Economy and Tourism. Developed to support entrepreneurs across every stage of their journey, the platform features over 70 lessons across seven subjects, in both English and Arabic – delivering 140 video modules and integrated online tutoring. Romain Colomer, Experience & Innovation Director, Create., concluded, 'At Create, we are pioneering AI-powered education for the region – redefining how knowledge is created and delivered at scale. This is the future of learning: adaptive, scalable, and deeply impactful.'

Braless Gabby Allen wows in plunging minidress as she joins Love Island co-star Demi Jones at NYX party
Gabby Allen looked incredible in a daring black minidress as she attended NYX's The Melt Gala party at The Old Sessions House in London on Wednesday. The Love Island All Stars winner showed off her jaw-dropping figure as she went braless under the strapless number. Gabby put on a leggy display in a pair of towering heels and accessorised with a dazzling gold pair of drop earrings. Styling her long blonde tresses in voluminous curls, the reality star flashed her gorgeous smile as she posed for the cameras. Joining Gabby at the bash was Demi Jones who turned heads in a stylish one shoulder beige midi dress which boasted a feathered side split. She opted for two long matching gloves and added inches to her frame in a pair of towering heels. Guests were treated to a performance by DJ Yuki as they celebrated the launch of the brands new buttermelt glaze skin tint and buttermelt highlighter. The party comes after Gabby returned from a lavish Dubai getaway earlier this month. She displayed her gym-honed physique in a very skimpy bikini as she modelled her outfit of the day in an Instagram post. The TV personality looked out of this world in the tiny two-piece as she flaunted her jaw-dropping abs. Gabby looked happier than ever on her lavish trip away in Dubai as she continued to soak up the sun. Making a brief appearance at the end of the video, Casey O'Gorman walked in on her shot to give her a kiss. Gabby recently clarified her relationship status on her Instagram stories after speculation about her jetting off alone. She quipped: 'Side note: Yes believe it or not, a girl can go on holiday with her family without it meaning her and her fella have ended... he's flying out on Sunday to see me.' Gabby and new partner Casey, 28, won Love Island All Stars earlier this year. Gabby put on a leggy display in a pair of towering heels and accessorised with a dazzling gold pair of drop earrings The couple bagged the whopping £50,000 prize in a dramatic conclusion over long-time frontrunners Grace Jackson and Luca Bish. Casey finally got his happy ending with blonde bombshell Gabby after appearing on the show three times previously. The couple had flown under the radar in the lead up to the finale, with bookmakers never placing them as favourites to clinch the £50,000 prize. Nonetheless, they managed to storm to victory during the live final - pipping longtime frontrunners Luca and Grace to the post while Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Curtis Pritchard finished in third. Some even questioned if the result was rigged, with Gabby and Casey having been devoid of public sentiment online - SlotsCalendar's data revealed that only six percent of tweets about the couple since they paired up had been positive. While social media users were baffled at the result, it has resulted in bookmakers paying out thousands, because of a third of the stakes were placed on the underdogs. William Hill spokesperson Lee Phelps told MailOnline: 'Gabby and Casey's Love Island All Stars victory last night may have appeared a shock on paper, but the result ended up being a big loser for us.' He continued: 'The couple accounted for over a third (35 percent) of stakes throughout the series. 'While the pair started out as an unlikely 10/1 towards the end of January, our punters appeared to have their heads turned in early February and their price dropped to as low as 4/7 at one point – the shortest odds offered at any stage of the series. 'Gabby and Casey entered last night's finale as 6/4 second favourites but proved to be the real bombshells of the series, stealing the crown from Luca and Grace (1/2).' For weeks, season eight's Luca, 25, and season 11 star Grace, 26, had been the bookies' frontrunners to win the show - garnering a strong online fanbase.

Four savvy ways to give your old make-up a new lease of life
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) MANY of us have old make-up gathering dust at the back of drawers and cabinets. But you can give some items a new lease of life. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 7 We have four savvy ways to give your old make-up a new lease of life Credit: Getty Try one of these ideas before discarding unused beauty items. EYESHADOW: Old eyeshadow can be scraped out of palettes and crushed up for use in crafts. Kids will enjoy dipping their fingers in the dust and making patterns on paper. Or mix with water or white paint to create new shimmery colours. Empty palettes can also be used for mixing paints, or as part of creative play. You could also try mixing crushed powder with clear nail varnish to make a new shade for your nails. MASCARA: You should replace your mascara within six months of first using to avoid the risk of eye infections or irritation which means it's easy to rack up lots of old packs. Wash and clean the wand, however, and it can still be used as a dry brush for eyelashes or eyebrows. Or use it for cleaning small, intricate items such as jewellery. Again, you can repurpose it for arts and crafts by giving to kids to use as a paintbrush. Beauty fan shares genius hack to nab a £28 designer concealer for just £4, as she urges others to 'run to John Lewis' BRONZER AND BLUSH: Powdered bronze and blush can also be crushed and mixed with body lotion at application to create a tinted moisturiser — great for summer. If you have any near-empty pots, wash them out and use for decanting lotions in for travelling. RECYCLE: If your tube of foundation is nearly finished, cut it open to get the last drops. If you can't find any further uses for old make-up, empty and clean the containers to recycle in return for rewards. Eyeshadow palettes, mascara, and other small cosmetic packaging can be handed in to Boots through its recycling schemes. If you recycle five items and spend £1 in-store you'll collect 500 extra Advantage card points. All prices on page correct at time of going to press.
