A special grievance redressal camp for students was conducted under the Naan Mudhalvan – Kalloori Kanavu scheme at the District Collector office here on Thursday.
The camp aimed to support students with financial aid, academic guidance, and admission-related queries for their higher education.
During the meeting, students seeking financial support were assessed for eligibility under available government aid and scholarships. Students who were deemed ineligible for such options were guided to apply for bank loans through portal.
Collector M.S. Sangeetha also instructed the bank officials present at the camp to collect academic and contact details for follow-up.
Counselling was offered to students preparing for supplementary examinations.
Ms. Sangeetha advised students not to lose hope and motivated them to work hard and succeed in the upcoming exams.
