In a press statement, Kuwait's Ministry of Higher Education said the meeting reviewed areas of mutual cooperation in the fields of education and research. The statement quoted the Qatari minister as affirming Qatar's keenness to strengthen cooperation in higher education with Kuwait, reflecting the deep fraternal ties between the two countries and contributing to the advancement of the educational system. HH the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah attends the graduation ceremony of Public Authority for Applied Education and Training students on May 7, 2025. - Amiri Diwan KUWAIT: HH the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah patronized and attended the 2023-24 graduation ceremony of the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (PAAET) on Wednesday at its new auditorium in Shuwaikh. HH the Amir was received by Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr Nader Al-Jallal, PAAET Director General Dr Hassan Al-Fajjam and faculty members. The event was also attended by HH the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Acting Prime Minister Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef Al-Sabah, President of the Supreme Judicial Council Dr Adel Bouresli and families of the graduates. Dr Al-Jallal praised HH the Amir's support, saying it reflects the country's commitment to nurturing national talent and human resources. He emphasized the responsibility of graduates to contribute to Kuwait's progress through knowledge and dedication. He also highlighted PAAET's strategic efforts to enhance academic quality and align education with labor market needs. Dr Al-Fajjam echoed these sentiments, reaffirming PAAET's mission to empower students and strengthen governance, digitization and research. With 59,000 students, the authority strives to equip youth with skills for both employment and further education. Graduates expressed deep gratitude for HH the Amir's presence, calling it a powerful motivator. Several students, including those majoring in English, law, science and special education, shared their pride and commitment to giving back to society.
