Viral K-beauty ‘glass skin' moisturiser finally launches in UK – we try it out
Popular Korean skincare brand Belif has finally launched in the UK, much to the delight of beauty fans. We put some of its hero products to the test to see what all the fuss is about Ask any beauty lover what they buy when abroad, and I bet it included a number of beauty products that you can't get back home. Until recently that included cult Korean skincare brand Belif – which was also available in the US – however, it has finally launched here in the UK on Beauty Bay, much to the delight of anyone who loves the lightweight, hydrating formulas that K-beauty is known for. Belif's Aqua Bomb range is perhaps its most popular, and within that, the Aqua Bomb moisturisers: The True Cream – Aqua Bomb, £32, a gel-cream formula ideal for combination-to-oily cream, and The True Cream – Moisturizing Bomb, £32, with more of a traditional cream texture and better suited to normal-to-dry skin. And if you're in need of a new moisturiser, I think these two are well worth checking out. I'd say my skin is combination, but I've never found gel textured creams hydrating enough for my complexion, so The True Cream – Moisturizing Bomb would be my pick out of the two. Enriched with peptides, squalane and ceramides, it's clinically shown to increase moisture by 114.5% instantly and keep the skin hydrated for up to 48 hours. It has more of a traditional moisturiser texture than its Aqua Bomb counterpart – Belif describes it as like 'whipped cream' – and it's incredibly lightweight, not heavy or greasy in the slightest. It makes my skin look instantly plumper and fresher, and make-up sits beautifully over the top of it. It also tried The True Cream – Aqua Bomb, and we really impressed by this one too; it sinks in instantly yet still leaves skin feeling hydrated, like a glass of water on the skin. If you're previously tried and loved gel-cream moisturisers such as Laneige Laneige Water Bank Blue Hyaluronic Acid Gel Moisturiser or Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel Cream Moisturiser, I think you'll love this. Belif also has a cleanser, toner and overnight mask in its Aqua Bomb range, which are worth a look. If it's lightweight, Korean skincare – known for giving a 'glass skin' glow – you should also check out Beauty of Joseon, which has just launched into Boots stores and online. We've been particularly impressed by the SPF, the essence and this gentle exfoliator. Meanwhile This Morning presenter Nadine Baggott recently praised the new L'Oréal Paris Revitalift Laser Tripeptides Age-Correcting Serum as one that make-up artists are currently obsessed with for getting glowing skin.

This Morning star swears by £13 product to refresh hair colour at home
Beauty expert Nadine Baggott has found a hair mask that she absolutely 'swears by' for getting rid of brassy tones on her blonde hair. The best part is, it's only £13 on Amazon There's nothing more frustrating than paying a pretty penny to get your blonde hair done, only for it to start looking brassy in a matter of weeks. Maintaining bleached locks can be a challenge, but for those looking to refresh their tresses between appointments may find at-home toning conditioners to be a lifesaver - and we've found one recommended by experts that costs less than £15 on Amazon. There are hundreds of products out there that promise to revive your colour as you stretch the time between salon visits, and sorting the wheat from the chaff can sometimes come at the expense of your hair. No-one wants to spend a fortune on products that may or may not be effective, so This Morning's esteemed beauty guru, Nadine Baggott recently put a selection of at-home hair treatments to the test in her quest to revive her blonde hair. Seeking to banish unsightly brass tones while tackling her roots, there was one product in particular that left her awestruck – the Jerome Russell Colour Bomb Blondes Colour Depositing Mask. The hair treatment costs £12.66 at Amazon and comes in 12 shades ranging from light shades like ice blonde and warm blonde, to darker hues like espresso and cool brown. There are even some more vibrant options like copper or ruby red, but Nadine opted for silver blonde. It's not the only product of its kind available, though. Beauty writer Tiffany Lo says her go-to is the Philip Kingsley's Pure Blonde Booster, retailing at £31. She said: 'I use it bi-weekly as a treatment to keep my blonde balayage vibrant, and it refreshes the colour while keeping my hair moisturised.' However, her colleague, Bethan Shufflebotham is a little more skeptical after a negative experience with the Wella Professionals Care Color Fresh Semi-Permanent Colour Mask in the shade copper glow. She said: 'I had wanted to refresh my copper between appointments and used the mask as directed, and despite leaving it on for half the time instructed, my hair still came out red rather than copper, which wasn't the look I was going for.' Nadine has hailed the Jerome Russell version as "the greatest tonal conditioning mask ever used", after discovering her hair transformed within the time it took her to complete her shaving routine. It saved her from taking trips to the salon every month and kept her hair in her desired cool toned hue. Explaining how tonal conditioners work, Nadine told her followers: "The way it works is that it works on the colour wheel. And the opposite colours on the colour wheel are violet or purple, and orange. And that's what you're doing. You're essentially depositing a pigment on the surface of the hair that then tricks the eye into colour correcting the orange so that less of the orange reflects back and more of a silvery blonde." The Jerome Russell mask provides blonde customers with 'stunning' metallic ashy tones, neutralising any unwanted brassy hues in a quick 10-minute treatment. The incorporated bond-building technology also strengthens the hair's structure from within, reports the Express. After testing the Jerome Russell Colour Bomb, Nadine was pleased with the outcome, even though the product appeared a lighter shade of purple than many other competitors. "This is Jerome Russell Colour Bomb Blondes and this is Silver Blonde,' she said. 'This is a colour depositing mask and I don't even leave this on for 15 minutes, I leave this on probably for about four or five minutes in the shower and it is mind blowingly good.' Nadine continued: "When I first squeezed it out onto my hand, I thought, well, that's not purple enough, that's not going to work. Explain to me why it outperforms every other product times 10. It might be the greatest tonal conditioning mask I've ever used. It's incredible and it really works, and it absolutely takes the warmth out of my hair, and it does that. It's sort of three or four minutes, just set enough time for me to shave my armpits, shave my bikini line and my much information. 'If you're looking for a really good budget one, that you can just use virtually every time you wash, and that doesn't ruin your bathroom, Jerome. Jerome Russell Colorbomb is bomb." Some Amazon shoppers gave mixed feedback about the £13 product, with one commenting: "It works and gives a lovely colour, but doesn't last very long before it fades out. I'd say the same colour lasts one wash. Was hoping for a bit more longevity." Another customer experienced discomfort and explained: "I thought I would try this product as it's not my usual one I get but had to wash it off straight away it was nipping my scalp and usually I'm ok with products on my scalp." Beyond Jerome Russell, Nadine also suggested trying the Maria Nila Sheer Silver Masque, priced at £24.50, which she found effective on her fine, damaged hair, although she noted it's "not as powerful in terms of toning as the conditioner". Shoppers can explore all the available shades of the Jerome Russell Colour Depositing Mask here.

I'm a beauty writer and found a way to get Medik8 £45 anti-ageing retinal for £4.50
I'm a beauty writer and found a way to get Medik8 £45 anti-ageing retinal for £4.50 The edit contains 11 dermatological skincare formulas each boasting high-performance ingredients, from brands including Medik8, Augustinus Bader and more This Medik8 Crystal Retinal is worth £49 alone Over the past year, I've found myself gradually moving away from trend-led skincare and leaning more into dermatological, science-backed formulas . As someone who has tested beauty products for a decade, I would apply almost any product to my face without a second thought - but over time, it's not been kind to my skin barrier, which has led me to a long-term skin health journey that focuses on clinical backing and proven ingredients. Dermatological Skincare seems to be a growing trend for 2025, with retailers like Boots even having dedicated sections in store for such edits. Like many people, I've grown more aware of how ingredients impact the skin, particularly as I start to notice early signs of ageing and want to focus on prevention rather than short-term benefits. One product I've been using as part of my nightly routine is the Medik8 Crystal Retinal 1, which is a potent retinal formula which is said to be 11x more powerful than regular retinol. The product is a firm favourite with This Morning beauty expert Nadine Baggott, who has worked her way up the various strengths of the product and claims it to be the secret behind her age-defying skin. READ MORE: Shopper loses '16 pounds in two weeks' using 'engaging' at-home workout app READ MORE: I ditched my AirPods for £20 budget pair and they're still going strong two years later I received the sensitive-friendly, beginner version of the formula in a beauty Easter Egg earlier this year and as I approached the end of my tube, I was looking to purchase the next strength up. But at £49, I knew I - a self-confessed bargain hunter - would want to find some way to save a few quid on it. So when I spotted LookFantastic's Dermatological Edit containing the exact product I'd had my eye on, I knew it was worth a closer look. The edit contains 11 dermatological skincare formulas each boasting high-performance ingredients. The haul is worth £170, but is priced at £50 , which is only £1 more than what I would have paid for the Medik8 Crystal Retinal 3 on its own. The Dermatological Edit £170.00 £50.00 LookFantastic Buy here Product Description Discover everything you need to enter your best skin ever era, with 11 science-backed skincare heroes, formulated to target skin concerns. I loved how the Crystal Retinal 1 gently introduced vitamin A into my routine without any irritation. I could have probably gone straight in with the Crystal Retinal 3, which is suited to 'beginners', but as I mentioned earlier, my skin barrier has had a bit of a tough time of late so I wanted to start super slowly and when I was ready to level up to strength 3, this box offered the most cost-effective way to do it. Medik8's Crystal Retinal 3 delivers all the radiance and firmness I've come to expect, while remaining gentle on my skin, which is a big win. I apply it in the evening, follow with a moisturiser, and wake up to visibly smoother, more refreshed skin. And while I'd have happily paid £50 for the LookFantastic Edit solely for this formula, it's not the only impressive product tucked inside, with some of the most trusted names in derm-grade beauty - including La Roche-Posay, Augustinus Bader, Bioderma, and First Aid Beauty - also featured. Augustinus Bader is a brand famously used by celebrities such as Victoria Beckham and Jennifer Aniston. A 15ml vial of their eye cream would usually set shoppers back £160, but the edit contains a mini version worth £32, allowing for a taste of luxury I'd have otherwise never afforded. I must admit, it's an incredibly indulgent cream that works wonders on my puffy under eyes, but it's not something I'd ever be able to justify rebuying. Maybe that's the downside to curated edits offering insane value like this, because I get hooked on products that my bank balance won't stretch to when I run out. Augustinus Bader's eye cream - this mini version is worth £32 I was also impressed by the Bioderma Sebium Kerato+ Anti-Blemish Gel-Cream, worth £18, which has been formulated for blemish-prone skin and works to improve skin texture and refine pore visibility. Meanwhile, the Cetaphil Daily Defence Cream SPF50 with UVA/UVB filters, has become a daily essential, not just for when the sun peeks out, but to help prevent early signs of ageing. I wasn't a fan of every single product inside the edit, though. The [coat]s Purifying Hydrating Clay Cleanser is a dual-action formula that removes excess oil and de-clogs pores, revealing refreshed, balanced skin. However, as someone with already quite dry skin, this wasn't suitable for me, but at least it didn't go to waste as I was able to give it to my sister, who does have more combination skin than me. Everything inside the LookFantastic Dermatological Skincare Edit, £50 LookFantastic aren't the only retailer to be offering beauty buffs amazing value with a curated haul of products, though. That said, they were the only ones I could find offering a dermatological-specific edit. Elsewhere, Boots has launched a Self Care Beauty Box that is valued at £137, but costs £34. Designed to promote daily self care and pampering, the edit features a handpicked selection of 12 skincare, haircare and body care goodies from brands like Estee Lauder, No7 and Wella. More than half of the contents are full sizes, too, each working out at £2.83 as part of the offer. By comparison, the items in the LookFantastic edit work out at £4.55 each. Everything inside the Boots Self Care beauty box that costs £34 (Image: Boots ) Article continues below Space NK has also got a fun haul, inspired by the viral TikTok trend, o f 'the everything shower' . The luxury edit of bath, body, and haircare costs £70 and is worth £165, boasting names like Sol de Janeiro, Living Proof and Alpha-H.

This Morning Nadine Baggott's go-to Medik8 anti-ageing serum is 90% off in LookFantastic deal
LookFantastic has launched a limited edition Dermatological Edit worth over £170, containing 11 science-backed skincare products - including the Medik8 Crystal Retinal 3 Serum, which usually costs £49 There are few anti-ageing products as effective and revered as Medik8's Crystal Retinal. And now, the 'game-changing' skincare product, adored by This Morning beauty expert Nadine Baggott, is now available for a fraction of its usual price thanks to a deal with LookFantastic. The Medik8's Crystal Retinal 3, typically priced at £49, can be snagged for £4.55 as part of the offer. This comes as LookFantastic unveils a limited edition Dermatological Edit. Valued at over £170, this collection includes 11 scientifically-backed skincare products and is up for grabs for shoppers at £50 - £1 more than purchasing the Medik8 hero alone. With savings exceeding 70%, the edit boasts 'everything you need to enter your best skin ever era'. Customers can anticipate discovering a host of celebrity-favoured brands, such as Augustinus Bader, alongside expert-approved selections from [coat]s, First Aid Beauty and more, Manchester Evening News reports. The Medik8 Crystal Retinal 3 Serum is the brand's second highest strength Vitamin A skincare product. Ideal for beginners and sensitive skin, it promises to deliver gentle fine-line reducing benefits. The key ingredient in this anti-ageing formula is retinal, a next-generation vitamin A that works 11x faster than standard retinol. This night serum is clinically proven to visibly smooth stubborn wrinkles, brighten dark spots, decongest and firm your skin without causing irritation. The serum has racked up an impressive 4.8 star rating from over 5,000 reviews. Satisfied customers have been vocal about their experiences: one shopper described it as a 'game changer' for her skin, saying, "Absolutely love this product. It has been a game changer for my skin and it does not cause any irritation when used as per instructions." Another customer revealed her loyalty to the serum, stating, "One product I keep going back to. Works amazingly on my sensitive skin & is helping slow down those early signs of ageing." A third chimed in with praises: "My favourite product from Medik8. My skin is very dry and it helps rejuvenate it over night and reduce the fine line of wrinkles on my face." But not every review glows with positivity. One user faced some issues, remarking: "This might be a good product, but with my fair skin, the yellow colour of the crème is really yellow on my skin so cannot wear it during the day. And at night it stains my pillow cases, some of it washed out but not all of it. So I'm thinking it would make a good day time mask. But other than that I'm satisfied with results." Buyers should bear in mind that Medik8 Crystal Retinal is intended for evening use due to its vitamin A content. The noticeable colour stems from natural ingredients and it's been known to stain pillowcases. Medik8 advises applying the cream well before bedtime to let it sink in, and layering a moisturiser on top to help minimize staining. Skincare enthusiasts are in for a treat with the most thrilling bit being the Dermatological Edit box, packed with a treasure trove of items including an anti-blemish gel and a hydrating sheet mask.
