train which will run between Pataliputra junction near Patna and Gorakhpur in adjoining Uttar Pradesh. Modi also inaugurated the new Vaishali-Deoria railway line.
Assembly elections in Bihar are scheduled for later this year. The current Nitish Kumar-led government is in power with the backing of the NDA.
