Namma School Namma Oor Palli audit meeting in Krishnagiri on July 24
The District Coordination meeting of the Namma School Namma Oor Palli (NSNOP) scheme will be held at the conference hall of Hosur Industries Association on Thursday (July 24, 2025). The meeting will be chaired by Collector C. Dinesh Kumar.
The scheme provides scope for devising plans to upgrade government schools and review and assess the progress of the development works undertaken.
The significant aspect of the scheme is the participation of the representatives from large industries, enterprises, and non-governmental organisations, where discussions enabling private industry contribution to schools and inputs from the industry is encouraged. They will also deliberate on the contributions made towards government schools under their Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives.
In addition to large industries, the school Education Department has also opened the scope of the NSNOP scheme to MSMEs to encourage them to contribute directly to the schools in any way possible, which may include donating a laptop to a student, or taking up higher education expenses , among others. This is enabled voluntarily through where names of schools are uploaded. According to the school Education Department, the names are uploaded with details of specific requirements for the school, only after the School Management Committee deliberates over the school's necessities.
The NSNOP planning committee will also provide an audit of the various outcomes owing to the industry participation in the schools, according to the administration.
