5 guns with magazines, drugs found in Vallejo home: Napa PD
(KRON) – Five guns with multiple high-capacity magazines and various illegal drugs were found in a Vallejo residence, according to the Napa Police Department. In January, Napa police conducted a patrol for drunk drivers when officers noticed a person speeding. The driver, later identified as 28-year-old Joseph Collins, allegedly had seven small bags of drugs. Each bag had a gram of suspected cocaine. The Napa Special Investigations Bureau (NSIB) began an investigation surrounding the drug bust. Driver in deadly Piedmont Cybertruck crash had cocaine, alcohol, meth in system On Feb. 4, the bureau conducted a search warrant of Collins' Vallejo residence, where they uncovered three pounds of cocaine, packaging materials, scales, cash, a money counter, MDMA powder and psilocybin mushrooms, police said. According to Napa PD, Collins also had five firearms and multiple high-capacity magazines. Charges are being filed on Collins in Napa and Solano counties, according to Napa PD. 3 pounds of cocaine, guns seized from Vallejo home, arrest made
Authorities in the North Bay said they seized three pounds of cocaine and multiple weapons from a Vallejo home and made an arrest, following an investigation that stemmed from traffic stop last month. According to the Napa County Sheriff's office, police conducting a drunk driving patrol in Napa stopped a Vallejo man for speeding. Police said the driver, identified as 28-year-old Joseph Collins of Vallejo, was in possession of seven baggies, each containing a gram of suspected cocaine. The discovery prompted an investigation by the Napa Special Investigations Bureau, a multi-agency task force targeting drug trafficking and human trafficking.
