Alabama Baseball 2025 Opponent Preview: LSU Tigers
Coming off back-to-back SEC series' losses, the Alabama Crimson Tide now hit the road this weekend to face likely their toughest road opponent yet in conference play, the LSU Tigers.
Only two seasons removed from a national championship, LSU is once again loaded roster-wise this season, and at the moment, are ranked among the top teams in all of college baseball.
That thought has also been backed up repeatedly throughout the 2025 season, but however, the Tigers are coming off what was their roughest showing so far this year last weekend, setting the stage for what is a key series between two struggling conference foes.
Here are a few things you need to know about the Tigers ahead of the Alabama vs. LSU series in Baton Rouge this weekend.

Since taking over in Baton Rouge, Johnson has led LSU to one College World Series appearance back in 2023, the same season the Tigers won the national championship.
