Alfie Caldecott put the hosts ahead in the 12th minute but a double from Nathan Mendoza - his winner coming eight minutes from time - turned the game around. Llay Welfare's mini-revival came to an end at home to leaders Bangor City 1876. Llay had keeper Cameron Dutton sent off four minutes into the second half with two-goal Corrig McGonigle scoring from the resultant spot-kick. And to make matters worse Scott Swords' two yellow cards in the space of two minutes saw him red carded too Liam Morris also scored for Bangor, who are level on points with Llangefni Town, who were surprisingly held to a 1-1 draw at struggling St Asaph City. Connah's Quay Town suffered a 2-0 defeat at Llanrwst United, Llannefydd edged out Trearddur Bay 1-0 and Porthmadog won 3-0 at Bethesda Athletic. Iwan Owen fired in four as Felinheli thrashed Pwllheli 6-2 while it finished 2-2 in Friday's coastal clash between NFA and Prestatyn Town. Cefn Albion are point behind North East League leaders Llanuwchllyn after making it four wins out of five. Top scorer Alex Williams took his tally to seven for the season with a double as Albion beat Kerry 4-2 at home. Dion Gibbins and teenager Tom Broadhurst also netted while a double from Meilir Williams made it 10 for the season as Llanuwchllyn triumphed 3-0 at Llanrhaeadr. Rhos Aelwyd's brilliant start to the season continued as they put on a show at Ponciau Banks. Captain Declan Molyneux, Ryan Jenkins, James Rumsey and top scorer Aled Parry netted in a 4-1 win against Builth Wells as their unbeaten record remained intact. Third-placed Corwen won 4-0 at Radnor Valley where Calum Butler helped himself to a hat-trick. Captain Pat Hinchcliffe also scored while Penycae drew 3-3 at Knighton Town, Osian Williams, Ben Buley and Tom Edwards their scorers. Seb Kidd scored twice as Lex XI slumped to a 6-2 defeat at Dolgellau for whom Will Gruffydd bagged a treble. Llangollen Town's poor start goes on after they were beaten 4-1 at Llanfair United. Louie Middlehurst had made it 1-1 at one stage for bottom-of-the-table Town. Llandrindod Wells were the day's other winners as they beat hosts Bow Street 2-0. In the only game in Division Two of the North East Wales League, Sychdyn United enjoyed a 3-1 win at Cefn Druids. Adam Woosey (2) and Shay Davies scored with captain Dan Roberts hitting back for Druids, who had a player sent off.
