White House Fires Two Democrats on Credit Union Regulator Board

President Donald Trump ousted two Democratic members of the National Credit Union Association, adding to a spate of firings at independent agencies in recent weeks. The dismissal of NCUA board members Todd Harper and Tanya Otsuka comes a month after Trump sacked two Democratic commissioners at the Federal Trade Commission. In an emailed statement, Otsuka said she was informed via email late Tuesday that she had been fired.
