Police reopen access to all areas in Marina Bay after crowd congestion eases at NDP Preview area

The public can check real-time crowd levels, and areas that are closed due to crowd build-ups online.
SINGAPORE - The police closed access to some areas in the Marina Bay area on the evening of Aug 2 due to large crowds that have gathered for the National Day Parade 2025 Preview 2 show.
In a Facebook post at around 8pm, members of the public were advised to avoid the areas of One Fullerton, Merlion Waterfront, Clifford Square, Jubilee Bridge and Marina Bay Sands Waterfront A & B.
At 9.35pm, the police said in an update that the crowd situation at the waterfront areas around Marina Bay had eased and that all areas had been reopened to the public.

They can also use the OneMap mobile app from 7pm to 10.30pm that day for recommended walking routes, the police added.
