However, a success story which continues to inspire generations is that of Iram Kazi, who, as per media reports, completed her schooling from Dhar in Madhya Pradesh. The journey of Iram Kazi was not easy as she scored low marks in NEET UG mock test multiple times. However, with the support of her parents, who continuously motivated her, she cracked the exam. NEET-UG exam 2025: Qualifying cut-off range In the NEET-UG exam 2025, the qualifying cut-off range for the general and EWS categories dropped from 720–162 last year to 686–144 this year. For OBC, SC, and ST candidates, the cut-off fell from 161–127 to 143–113. A total of 5,64,611 OBC, 3,38,728 General, 1,68,873 SC, and 67,234 ST candidates have qualified. 'The NTA conducts the exam and declares result based on the eligibility criteria provided by the National Medical Council (NMC). The admitting authorities will now draw a merit list based on all India rank for the MBBS and BDS seats available in their jurisdiction,' said Col B Vijay Kumar, Director (Exams), NTA. About NEET-UG Exam The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET-UG) is the largest entrance exam in the country in terms of the number of candidates appearing for the test. Rajasthan's Mahesh Kumar, who topped NEET-UG exam this year, shared insights to qualify the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Under-graduate (NEET UG) exam. He urged students to refrain from falling into the trap of overconfidence or under confidence and suggested that one must have fixed schedule and maintain good health during preparation. 'I studied at Guru Kripa Career Institute for three years, and my strategy was simple, consistent study without falling into the trap of overconfidence or under confidence. Regularity, a fixed timetable, and taking good care of my health were key,' PTI quoted NEET-UG All India Rank 1 holder as saying. Stressing the need for a structured study plan and self-care, he advised students to practice time management and said, "As a Hindi medium student, I did feel nervous at first, but my coaching institute supported me throughout. To my juniors, I'd say — follow a schedule, time management is something you learn best through regular mock tests." He scored 99.9999547 percentile in the NEET UG results announced on June 14. Utkarsh Awadhiya from Madhya Pradesh obtained Rank 2 and Krishang Joshi from Maharashtra secured Rank 3. Avika Aggarwal from Delhi emerged as the female topper in NEET UG 2025 exam, who secured an All India Rank 5 with 99.9996832 percentile.
