Rajasthan's Mahesh Kumar, who topped NEET-UG exam this year, shared insights to qualify the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Under-graduate (NEET UG) exam. He urged students to refrain from falling into the trap of overconfidence or under confidence and suggested that one must have fixed schedule and maintain good health during preparation.
'I studied at Guru Kripa Career Institute for three years, and my strategy was simple, consistent study without falling into the trap of overconfidence or under confidence. Regularity, a fixed timetable, and taking good care of my health were key,' PTI quoted NEET-UG All India Rank 1 holder as saying.
Stressing the need for a structured study plan and self-care, he advised students to practice time management and said, "As a Hindi medium student, I did feel nervous at first, but my coaching institute supported me throughout. To my juniors, I'd say — follow a schedule, time management is something you learn best through regular mock tests."
He scored 99.9999547 percentile in the NEET UG results announced on June 14. Utkarsh Awadhiya from Madhya Pradesh obtained Rank 2 and Krishang Joshi from Maharashtra secured Rank 3.
Avika Aggarwal from Delhi emerged as the female topper in NEET UG 2025 exam, who secured an All India Rank 5 with 99.9996832 percentile. Aashi Singh from Delhi with AIR 12, secured second spot among top performing females.

A government officer's son, frequent transfers were a part of his childhood. 'We moved to Delhi four years ago,' said his father, Manoj Jha. 'Since then, Mrinal has stayed focused on his goal.'advertisementA DAY MAPPED AT DISCIPLINEFor the past two years, Mrinal has followed a structured and disciplined routine. Living in a PG in Lajpat Nagar to stay close to his coaching centre, he travelled daily to Indraprastha Public School in Rohini to meet the mandatory attendance. 'I didn't care about time; I cared about completing my daily target. I practiced 500–600 MCQs every day,' he said. Board marks took a backseat as NEET remained his top priority—reflected in his 89.6% in Class 12 and 87.4% in Class 11. 'I began preparing in Class 9, but it was the last two years that were most crucial,' he STRATEGY AND SUPPORT SYSTEMPhysics was the toughest subject for Mrinal, but with guidance from his teachers, he overcame his weaknesses. 'Mock tests and revisions helped me identify my weak areas and clear doubts,' he said. For Mrinal, coaching and self-study were equally important. 'Coaching helped build concepts, and self-study gave me confidence.'advertisementSurprisingly, he never struggled with self-doubt or burnout. 'My friends were supportive, and group discussions helped clear doubts,' he said. Family played a huge role too. 'My father always told me to aim for AIIMS Delhi, and my mother constantly motivated me.'Mrinal's mantra is clear: 'Consistent efforts without distractions are the key. Have faith in yourself and in God.' His story proves that success isn't about last-minute cramming—but about discipline, balance, and belief.

MYSURU: KG Nidhi, a student who completed her primary education in Srimangala in Kodagu and secondary education at Navodaya Vidyalaya in Galibeedu, Madikeri, achieved success in the National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET-UG2025) by securing 84th at the all-India level and 7th rank for the state of Karnataka. The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the results of the National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET-UG2025). She secured a seat for education in the medical field by obtaining 648 marks out of 720. Nidhi, who is currently studying PUC in Mangaluru, secured the 550th rank in Engineering in CET. She has now secured the 84th rank at the national level in NEET. This achievement was possible through continuous effort and hard work. "I engaged in preliminary preparation for the NEET exam from the first PUC. I also received encouragement in the college. The cooperation of my parents cannot be expressed in words. Overall, I will continue my education in the medical field as per my wish," she said. She completed her primary education at J.C. Primary School in Srimangala and her secondary education at Galibeedu Navodaya. Originally from Somwarpet Bettadalli, she is the daughter of Ganapathy , who resides in Choudlu Alekatte, working as ASI in the District Armed Reserve Force at Madikeri, and Gunavathy, the in-charge headmistress of Jakkanalli Govt School. Mangaluru (Karnataka) [India] June 15 (ANI): The National Testing Agency declared the results of the NEET (UG) examination on Saturday. Krishang Joshi has secured All India Rank 3 in the NEET UG 2025 examination, entering the top ranks of one of India's toughest medical entrance tests. Krishang, originally from Uttarakhand, took the NEET UG exam from Maharashtra and brought pride to his family and state with this remarkable achievement. While speaking to ANI about his success, Krishang said, 'Since class ten, my ambition has been to become a doctor, because as my parents say, it is a very noble profession, you can work independently and serve society.' 'My father works as a deputy conservator at the New Mangaluru Port Association and my mother is a housewife,' he added. He shared that the ambition to become a doctor had taken root years ago. Krishang also admitted that he was surprised by the result. 'I did not expect a third rank. I was sure I would get a rank under 50...' Meanwhile, Indore's Utkarsh Awadhiya secured All India Rank 2 in NEET UG 2025. He advised NEET aspirants to stay away from social media. He says, 'I continued working hard and enjoyed the journey. It is not that this journey was very difficult for me. I enjoyed this journey at every step. I started the preparation in class 11. Our class timings were 9.30 am to 6.30 pm. I used to return to the hostel after that and study seriously for 2 to 3 hours.' He advised aspirants to avoid too much mobile use.'I lived in a hostel because the study environment created in a hostel cannot be created at home. My father is a branch manager in HDFC Bank. My mother is a housewife. I also have a younger brother. He will probably prepare for the JEE. I would like to tell children that if you want to prepare well for NEET, then do not use mobile too much. You should stay away from social media,' he added. The NEET (UG) examinations were held on May 4 across 548 cities in India and 14 international centres. More than 20.8 lakh students appeared for the NEET (UG) examination. 'NEET (UG) 2025 Results are now LIVE! All candidates are advised to check their email for their scorecards. You can also download your result using your login credentials at NTA said in its 'X' post. Rajasthan's Mahesh Kumar achieved the first rank in the NEET (UG) 2025 examination with a percentile of 99.9999547. (ANI)
