Helen Flanagan's rocky romances from 'man ban' to tough decision over 'split'
Helen Flanagan is believed to have broken things off with boyfriend Robbie Talbot as she continues to put her children first. Here, the Mirror takes a look at the actress' former relationships and 'man ban' her pals ordered Helen Flanagan has reportedly split from boyfriend Robbie Talbot a year after the pair went public with their romance. The mum-of-three had hinted at wanting a child with the former footballer, but has since had a "change of heart," according to friends. Helen, 34, was living with Robbie, 45, in her stunning Bolton mansion, but just last month, the former Coronation Street actress revealed he had moved out because it was not helpful to her children, who 'missed' their dad, Helen's ex-fiance, Scott Sinclair. Her relationship with Robbie came after her friends had attempted to put her on a 'man ban' after her difficult split from Scott. Here we take a look at the actress's past love life... READ MORE: Helen Flanagan 'splits from her boyfriend' Robbie Talbot for heartbreaking reason The I'm A Celebrity star separated from Bristol Rovers footballer Scott Sinclair in 2022 after 13 years together. The pair share three children: Matilda, nine, Delilah, six, and son Charlie, four. Last year, Helen spoke out about her split with Scott and revealed, " We don't like each other." Opening up on Charlotte Dawson's Naughty Corner podcast, she said, "I still love him very much, I care about him deeply, but we don't like each other. We don't like each other at all, we don't get on. I do know that Scott—he'd never admit it—cares about me too, and he does love me." She continued: "The last time I saw him, I thought it was quite funny, I was taking the p*** out of him because he had a bucket hat on. I think he was trying not to laugh." After their split, Helen confessed how her friends tried to put her on a 'man ban' after she split from Scott. She told The Sun's Fabulous Magazine:"A lot of my friends were trying to put me on a man ban, which obviously didn't work! I was hurting from the break up and I've always just wanted to be loved so I started dating." Helen met Robbie not long after her 'ban' and Robbie had been living in the former Coronation Street star's home since last month, eight months since the pair began dating. She told Daily Mail's podcast in March that "everyone loves him" and called him the "funniest guy I've ever met." She continued: "He's got two kids and he's really beautiful with my children. I think that's what made me fall more in love with him because he's so good with my mental health and that's the main thing for me that I need. I need someone that's good for me mentally and emotionally, that's my top thing and that's what I've realised. "No disrespect to the father of my children, I'll always have that love for him, but he didn't know how to cope with me or didn't know how to do that, and not everybody does, but because the man that I'm with now really knows how to do that, it makes me happy." However, friends now claim the mum-of-three had a change of heart and told Robbie their relationship 'wasn't working.' According to The Sun, a source said: "They want different things in life. She has just landed a new acting job and is trying to juggle work projects with the kids. She sat him down two weeks ago and said, 'This isn't working'... She just wants to be on her own for a while although she still has feelings for him." Robbie had moved into her pad after she said she felt "safer" with a man in her house and often gets scared on her own - but realised it was having a bad effect on her children. Always wanting to put her children first, she called her daughter Matilda a "daddy's girl" and "sensitive" who struggled with not seeing Scott as much as she'd like. Helen realised that having a boyfriend in the house didn't help the situation.

The Natural hormone balancing supplement Elle Sera has been helping the star deal with her PMDD by alleviating her symptoms to which she has been battling with for years. The former Corrie star, opened up about her relationship with her children revealing that at one point her eldest daughter Matilda, 9, had told her she wanted to stay with her dad. It's been three years since Helen split from her ex Scott after 13 years together. The actress shared how she likes to allow her children to make their own choices and continues to be supportive when it comes to co-parenting. She began: ' With me I feel like I'm quite a free spirit so I kind of feel with my children, I like to bring them up in a way where they, within reason obviously, make their own choices. 'So I said to Matilda, what do you want to do for Easter? and she was like, 'I want to go the whole time with my daddy'. 'Which, you know, obviously, I've always been supportive even though me and her dad aren't together and I'd like to think of how she feels and try and encourage a nice relationship with her dad. 'But sometimes that can be hard as well, because it's like, oh, you know... and then sometimes even though I'm doing a lot. "I do have my children the majority of the time, sometimes if we have little squabbles, maybe hormones and everything, it's 'Oh, I want my daddy and I'm thinking "Oh Wow". Helen Flanagan reveals her sadness as she's forced to sell her forever home Host Elissa chimed: " They don't mean it though." To which Helen responded: "No but Delilah and Charlie I feel like they're a bit more like for mummy but Matilda I think she loves her dad." Last year the actress revealed the real reason behind her and Scott's split admitting that 'we don't like each other'. Speaking on Charlotte Dawson's Naughty Corner podcast, she said: "I still love him very much, I care about him deeply, but we don't like each other. "We don't like each other at all, we don't get on. I do know that Scott - he'd never admit it - cares about me too and he does love me." Helen continued: "The last time I saw him, I thought it was quite funny, I was taking the p*** out of him because he had a bucket hat on. I think he was trying not to laugh." However, it seems the pair are back on good terms with Helen going on to support her ex-fiance watching him play for Bristol Rovers at Wigan with her kids back in January. Helen has now moved on with boyfriend Robbie Talbot, 45, who she first introduced to the world on the Celebs Go Dating last year. 5 Last year the actress revealed the real reason behind the pair's split Credit: Getty - Contributor 5 The actress has shared how she likes to allow her children to make their own choices Credit: Getty

After separating from Scott, 36, whom she dated for 13 years, Helen has since begun seeing construction worker Robbie Talbot, 45. She commented: "He's a kind, genuine person, he makes me laugh and he's brilliant with my kids." In related news, Helen accepted that she and Scott don't see eye to eye but showed that they maintain care for one another as co-parents. Chatting with Charlotte Dawson on her 'Naughty Corner' podcast, Helen confessed: "I still love him very much, I care about him deeply, but we don't like each other. "We don't like each other at all, we don't get on. I do know that Scott - he'd never admit it - cares about me, too, and he does love me. "But I'm so done, I could never have another relationship again where we would always be bickering. I haven't got another argument in me. "As women, we try and do anything we can to make it work with the father of your children, and I did. But I think for me if I was in a relationship with someone else it would have to be easy because I haven't got the energy in me again, I've done all that with the father of my kids. "I've been a single mum for two years now. Co-parenting is hilarious, we were together for 13 years. "The last time I saw him, I thought it was quite funny, I was taking the p*** out of him because he had a bucket hat on. I think he was trying not to laugh. "He lives in Bath and I live in North Manchester so its about five hours and we meet in Birmingham to exchange things and the kids. "He's throwing things in my boot and I just started taking the mickey out of his bucket hat to lighten the mood. "We just try and not be in the same house together because the children are the priority and I want a good environment for them and I don't want them to see us arguing."
