Let us develop coastal region, create history again, says DKS
Mangaluru: Deputy chief minister DK Shivakumar insisted that a sense of brotherhood should be fostered among the people in the coastal area. "Through developmental works, let us create history once again in the coastal area. The people of the region are talented and intelligent. We need to create an environment for them to work here," Shivakumar the silver jubilee celebrations of the Navodaya Grama Vikas Charitable Trust and Navodaya Self-Help Groups on Saturday, he said, "Efforts may fail, but prayers never do. There is no lack here; progress was made in education, religion, and all sectors. Navodaya trust silver jubilee celebrations tomorrow
Mangaluru: The silver jubilee celebrations of the Navodaya Grama Vikasa Charitable Trust and Navodaya Self-Help Groups will be held at Goldfinch City, Bangra Kuloor, in the city on Saturday. Trust founder MN Rajendra Kumar said that chief minister Siddaramaiah will inaugurate the programme at chief minister Devendra Fadnavis will distribute benefits to members of the Navodaya self-help groups, and Karnataka deputy chief minister DK Shivakumar will release the souvenir, 'Santhrupti', on the occasion. Meanwhile, Union minister for new and renewable energy Pralhad Joshi will distribute awards to Navodaya Self-Help Groups that presented excellent performance.
