Trump confronts South African president with video on treatment of White farmers
President Donald Trump confronted South African President Cyril Ramaphosa at the White House on Wednesday with a video allegedly showing grave treatment of White farmers. Trump has claimed that White Afrikaner South African farmers are being slaughtered and forced off their land. The Afrikaners are descendants of mostly Dutch settlers who first arrived in South Africa in 1652. A portion of the footage aired at the White House showed white crosses lined up alongside both sides of a road. "Now this is very bad. These are burial sites right here. Burial sites -- over a thousand -- of White farmers. And those cars are lined up to pay love on a Sunday morning. Each one of those white things you see is a cross. And there is approximately a thousand of them," Trump said. "They're all White farmers. The family of White farmers. And those cars aren't, driving, they are stopped there to pay respects to their family member who was killed. And it's a terrible sight. I've never seen anything like it. On both sides of the road, you have crosses. Those people are all killed." Trump To Meet Leader Of 'Out Of Control' South Africa At White House "Have they told you where that is, Mr. President? I'd like to know where that is. Because this I've never seen," Ramaphosa then asked Trump. Read On The Fox News App "I mean, it's in South Africa, that's where," Trump responded. "We need to find out," Ramaphosa said. Earlier, Trump said "we had a lot of people, I must tell you, Mr. President, we have had a tremendous number of people, especially since they've seen this, generally they're White farmers and they're fleeing South Africa. And it's, you know, it's a very sad thing to see, but, I hope we can have an explanation of that, because I know you don't want that." Some 50 Afrikaners were flown to the U.S. as refugees last week. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said there's "more to come". Trump Rips Nbc Reporter For Asking About Qatari Jet Gift Amid Tense Meeting On Genocide: 'You're A Disgrace' South Africa, and its president, denies claims of genocide and harassment. "I'm not going to be repeating what I've been saying. I would say if there was Afrikaner farmer genocide, I can bet you these three gentlemen would not be here, including my Minister of Agriculture. He would not be with me. So it will take him, President Trump listening to their stories, to their perspectives, that is the answer to your question," Ramaphosa said. At one point in the meeting, Trump was asked by a reporter "What would you like President Ramaphosa to do about the situation that we just seen on the screen?" "I don't know. I don't know," Trump said. "Look, these are articles over the last few days," Trump continued, holding up a stack of paper. "Death of people. Death. Death. Horrible death," Trump said as he started flipping through the sheets. "White South Africans are fleeing because of the violence and racist laws… So when you say, what would I like to do? I don't know what to do," Trump article source: Trump confronts South African president with video on treatment of White farmers

Adam Schiff reveals what a San Francisco cashier bluntly told him about Dems, warns party has 'major problem'
Sen. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., offered a dire warning to fellow Democrats recalling an exchange he had with a Target cashier in San Francisco, insisting his party has a "major problem." During a panel discussion on Friday's "Real Time with Bill Maher," Schiff was asked to weigh in on the current state of the Democratic Party and how it governs, particularly in a state like California. "So we're gonna to have to change how we do business in California," Schiff told Bill Maher. "We're gonna to have to address people's legitimate concerns about crime." Nbc Host Questions Adam Schiff On Whether Biden Officials Misled The Public About Former President Schiff then recalled an experience he had two years ago in San Francisco when his luggage was stolen out of his car, admitting it was the one time he did not heed warnings from others about not leaving valuables in vehicles while in the city. "And what was most memorable about the experience for me as I went to this Target in South San Francisco, 10 o'clock at night, and I'm getting the toiletries I'm gonna need for my next two days in the city," Schiff said. "First of all, I had to get the clerk, which is hard to find, to unlock the shampoo or the whatever. So that's one thing." Read On The Fox News App Mayor Daniel Lurie Sees 'Vibe Shift' In San Francisco As He Works To Clean Up City "And then I get to the cashier. The cashier asked me if I want one of those Target bags with a little bullseye on it. And I said, 'Yes, that Target bag is gonna be my luggage for the next two days," Schiff continued. "And she asked me what happened, and I told her, and she basically said in not so many words, 'Yeah, Democrats are a---h---s.' And I thought, you know, if the cashier in South San Francisco at 10 o'clock at night believes that Democrats are a---h---s because the shampoo was locked up and my stuff got stolen out of the trunk, we've got a major problem that we have to address." "That's an awesome story," Maher reacted. "That says a lot. I hope all the Democrats listen to that story." Schiff expressed hope in San Francisco's new Democratic mayor Daniel Lurie, who he says is "helping lead the way in how we kind of reinvent how Democrats are doing governance." Chuck Todd says the 'mythology' of Joe Biden as a family man is 'all bulls---'
Former NBC "Meet the Press" anchor Chuck Todd delivered a brutal opinion about former President Biden, calling him a "craven political animal" who was more concerned about his political career than his own family. During an appearance Sunday on Lincoln Project co-founder Steve Schmidt's "The Warning" podcast, Todd delved into why the Democrats lost the 2024 election and what he perceives as the media's relationship with the second Trump administration. After decrying older politicians remaining in the leadership of the Democratic Party, Todd returned to Biden's role in the November election loss. "You know, Joe Biden never should have been there in the first place, right? Number one, he shouldn't have run for president [in 2020]," Todd remarked. Biden Insider Exposes How White House 'Gaslit' The Public About Former President's Decline "I completely got so angry at Joe Biden, the man, when I read the transcript of the Hunter Biden trial, and when I realized that not one, not two, but three Biden children, and I count Beau's widow, were all dealing with drug problems in 2018. And Joe Biden said, 'Now's a perfect time to run for president, because who cares about our family?'" Read On The Fox News App "I have to tell you something about Joe Biden. There's this mythology about Joe Biden, that the man cared so much, it's all bulls---," he continued. Todd said Biden had "created this myth," over his 40-year career, that he was an "incredible family man." "And instead, what he really was, was a craven political animal that was desperate, that considered a run for president every four years that he was eligible," he added. Fox News Digital reached out to Biden's office for comment but did not immediately hear back. Nbc's Chuck Todd Accuses Gop Of Trying To 'Exploit' Biden Over Not Acknowledging His 7Th Grandchild Todd left NBC News in January after nearly two decades at the network. He has been increasingly outspoken in his criticisms of the former president, saying in December that Biden probably shouldn't have run for office again because he was "emotionally incapable" of leading the country. In December, Todd slammed Biden for pardoning his son Hunter before leaving office. Todd said Biden's blanket pardon of Hunter, covering a decade, along with the president's accusation that the Justice Department "unfairly" targeted his son, were "damaging" to the country. "You have the leading Democrat in America and the leading Republican in America both agreeing on one thing: the Justice Department has been politicized. That is absolutely – that is long-term damaging," Todd said at the time. Nbc's Chuck Todd Says President Biden 'Needs Therapy' Following Son Hunter's Pardon "So now we're in a situation where every party is going to come in, and as they leave, everybody gets their security blanket pardon. 'OK, how long do you want it? You want a 10-year window?'" he said. "Guess what? There's now a precedent for it and that's what's so damaging about this decision," Todd article source: Chuck Todd says the 'mythology' of Joe Biden as a family man is 'all bulls---'

Pedro Pascal Is Being Praised For His Seriously Iconic Replies To Trolls Who Are Making Anti-Trans Comments On His Recent Instagram Post
Over the weekend, Pedro Pascal won widespread praise when he shared a pro-trans rights message to his Instagram account, which has more than 8.8 million followers. At a time when transgender people are having their rights stripped away, Pedro used his platform to showcase his support as he posted a photo of a sign that read: "A WORLD WITHOUT TRANS PEOPLE HAS NEVER EXISTED AND NEVER WILL." Pedro's stance is perhaps unsurprising, considering he has always vocally supported his younger sister, Lux Pascal, who publicly came out as transgender in Feb. 2021 in a cover story for the Spanish-language magazine Ya. In the interview, Lux — who is also an actor — opened up about the pivotal role that Pedro played in her transition, saying that he "has been an important part of this. He's also an artist and has served as a guide for me. He was one of the first people to gift me the tools that started shaping my identity." She added that she came out as trans to Pedro over FaceTime, and his first response was to ask how she felt. When she told him she was happy, he immediately congratulated her, with Lux recalling her big brother saying: "Perfect, this is incredible.' At the time, Pedro posted Lux's cover story to his Instagram page and wrote: 'Mi hermana, mi corazón, nuestra Lux," which translates to: "My sister, my heart, our Lux.' When he was subsequently asked about Lux's transition in an interview with Esquire, Pedro said that he wasn't comfortable to 'speak on her behalf,' but made it clear that he will always have his sister's back. 'She is and has always been one of the most powerful people and personalities I've ever known,' he told the publication. "My protective side is lethal, but I need her more than she needs me.' And his most recent post isn't the first time that Pedro has expressed his support for the LGBTQ+ community as a whole on social media either, with the star regularly posting during Pride months, as well as sharing a photo of the Progress Pride flag in March 2023, when trans rights were, once again, under attack. Despite this, some of Pedro's followers were not happy with his latest trans rights post and felt the need to let him know about it in the comments — where Pedro had the most perfect responses. Replying to one person who wrote: 'You were my favourite actor…. I'm unfollowing you…. Bullshit,' Pedro sarcastically replied: 'nooooooooooo 💅' 'Man you were one of my favorite actors until this… 😔,' somebody else wrote, to which Pedro quipped: 'that's too bad. Wait, no I don't give a shit.' Needless to say, fans have been left obsessed with Pedro's sassy responses, and took to a Reddit forum to heap praise on his no-nonsense pro-trans stance. One of the top comments simply reads: ''Nooooooooo 💅' is iconic,' to which somebody else agreed: 'Right??? I love it so much.' Nbc / Jamie McCarthy / NBC via Getty Images 'God, I love him. These people aren't only vile, but they're incredibly stupid, Pedro is very close with his sister and has always been outspoken about transgender rights,' another redditor wrote. One more added: 'People throw this term around a lot but I really mean it. This is real king shit. Using your privilege and power to lift up others and put bullies in their place. Not the other bullshit theatrics we are seeing in other… places.' 'These replies are KILLING me. I love him so much. I need more men with this type of energy in my life,' somebody else echoed, while another commented: 'Every time I think I can't appreciate him more 🥰' One more user concluded: 'That's it. I'm watching Pedro Pascal's entire filmography.'
