The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kashipur hosted a five-day programme titled 'Nurturing Future Leadership'. The initiative, held under the Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Programme (MMTTP) of the Ministry of Education, focused on equipping educators with leadership and pedagogical skills to address institutional challenges effectively. The programme was designed for teachers and faculty members from centrally funded institutes, state public universities, grant-in-aid colleges, and private higher education institutions. Forty-two participants from across India took part in this fourth batch of the leadership initiative. Training sessions included case studies, group exercises, design thinking, innovation practices, policy insights, and peer learning. These interactive formats aimed to strengthen participants' ability to lead academic institutions and enhance educational outcomes. The programme was inaugurated by Prof. Neeraj Dwivedi, Director of IIM Kashipur, who emphasized the role of the National Education Policy (NEP) in shaping future-ready education systems. IIM Lucknow launches Blended MBA programme for working professionals

The Indian Institute of Management Lucknow (IIM Lucknow) has introduced a new Blended Master of Business Administration (bMBA) programme aimed at working professionals and entrepreneurs. The two-year programme is designed to provide management education through a combination of online and on-campus learning, allowing participants to balance academic pursuits with professional commitments. Eligible candidates can register themselves on the official website at The bMBA is structured across six terms. The first year will include foundational core courses, while the second year will offer electives across domains such as Strategy, Finance, Marketing, IT Systems, Operations and Supply Chain Management, and Human Resources. These electives are aligned with IIM Lucknow's flagship post-graduate programme. A Capstone project is also included in the curriculum to offer real-world application of the concepts taught. Applications for the programme will open on July 11, 2025, and close on August 18, 2025. Online interviews for shortlisted candidates are scheduled between September 1 and 3, 2025. The programme is set to commence on September 25, 2025. IIM-Kozhikode inducts MBA batch 2025–27 with over half the cohort women candidates According to its notice, the learning model includes virtual live sessions with periodic on-campus modules. These in-person sessions will be held at IIM Lucknow's campus and will offer participants exposure to interactive lectures, software-based exercises, and group-based learning methods. Applicants must have a minimum of three years of full-time work experience after graduation and be at least 24 years old. A minimum of 15 years of formal education and a 50% aggregate score in graduation (or equivalent CGPA) are required. In addition to graduates, professionals with qualifications such as Chartered Accountant (CA), Company Secretary (CS), Cost and Management Accountant (ICWA/CMA), or foreign degree equivalents recognised by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) are also eligible. The bMBA aims to develop leadership, strategic thinking, and digital fluency among professionals. The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kashipur has appointed Prof Neeraj Dwivedi as its new director, bringing on board a seasoned academic and strategic leader with over 25 years of experience across education, industry, and executive alumnus of IIM Lucknow, Professor Dwivedi holds a Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) in Strategic Management. His academic journey also includes an MTech from IIT Kharagpur and a BTech from GB Pant University, Pantnagar, reflecting a strong foundation in both engineering and management joining IIM Kashipur, Professor Dwivedi served as a Professor of Strategic Management at IIM Lucknow. During his tenure, he took on several key leadership roles, such as Dean (Faculty and Programmes), Chairperson for Post-Graduate Programmes, Admissions, Student Affairs & Placements, and was also a member of the Board of Governors. He played an instrumental role in helping the institute earn its AACSB accreditation, a significant milestone in global academic standards. Notably, he was the national convener for the Common Admission Test (CAT) in 2017, successfully managing the smooth execution of one of India's most competitive and large-scale entrance Dwivedi's academic career spans leading institutions, including IIM Indore, IIM Kozhikode, and the School of Management at the Asian Institute of Technology in Thailand. Prof Dwivedi has over 25 years of experience spanning academia, the corporate sector, and executive leadership. He is an alumnus of IIM Lucknow, who has completed his Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) in Strategic Management. He also holds an MTech from IIT Kharagpur and a BTech from GB Pant University, Pantnagar. He joins IIM Kashipur from the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow, where he served as Professor of Strategic Management and held several senior leadership roles, including Dean (Faculty and Programmes), Chairperson of Post-graduate Programmes, Admissions, Student Affairs & Placements, and Member of the Board of Governors. As per a statement by IIM-K, Prof Dwivedi has helped IIM Lucknow in achieving the institute's AACSB accreditation. Notably, he served as the national convener for CAT 2017, overseeing the seamless conduct of one of India's largest and most complex competitive examinations. His earlier associations included the Indian Institute of Management Indore, Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode, and the School of Management, Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand.
