NetDocuments has announced the introduction of new AI-powered features to its cloud-based Document Management System (DMS) for legal professionals, focusing on document editing, metadata profiling, and workflow automation within existing legal tools. The company's latest capabilities include AI Profiling, background automation applications, and an agentic AI editing tool for Microsoft Word. AI Profiling for document organisation AI Profiling is central to NetDocuments' enhanced DMS, providing automatic enrichment of documents with comprehensive and accurate metadata. This reduces the need for manual data entry, which is often time-consuming and susceptible to human error, and supports the sector's increasing requirement for AI-ready content. The system classifies and enriches documents with metadata, supporting legal teams in achieving secure, reliable, and easily searchable records.
