‘Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion' Gets Some Nice Character Trailers

With the release of Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion looming, we've now been graced with some new character trailers. Specifically, we have two trailers covering the main factions in the game: the Reclaimers and the Neun. The Reclaimers are ostensibly the good guys and are trying to save humanity from the ravaging force of Femto and the subsequent 'Immortals' that roam the shattered landscape. The Neun are the Femto mutated baddies, who think humanity is an evolutionary dead-end and should be eradicated. So the characterization this time around is at least better than the almost incoherent narrative from the first game. Many of the Reclaimers also have fun personalities, with even a robot kid thrown in for good measure as a nod to Astro Boy. The characters this time around are also penned by Kimihiko Fujisaka, which gives the game a more artsy role-playing feel, which fits with the whole new open world setup that's been shown. Anyway, the more I see of Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion, the happier I am, as I think this will be a real gem of a game on release. Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion will be released on September 5 for Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. In the meantime, feel free to check out my interview with the game's producer, Kenichiro Tsukuda. Follow me on X, Facebook and YouTube. I also manage Mecha Damashii and am currently featured in the Giant Robots exhibition currently touring Japan.
