Halle Berry is embracing big changes as her daughter Nahla prepares for college, completely focusing on her own daughters' growth instead of focusing on her leaving. In a recent interview with Today with Jenna & Friends via People, she talked about how her daughter, Nahla, is leaving for college. I'm dying to see who she's gonna be and what she's gonna do and what she'll discover.' It's unclear which college she'll be attending, but it's clear Berry is her biggest supporter; which we love to see! Back in 2010, Berry started dating French actor Olivier Martinez after meeting on set of Dark Tide. Two years later, they got engaged in 2012 and married in 2013. They welcomed a son named Maceo-Robert in Oct 2013 (and Berry welcomed her daughter in 2008, named Nahla, with ex Gabriel Aubry). In a recent interview with SheKnows, Berry talked about her new movie, Never Let Go, and about being a mom. 'I became a mom 16 years ago and for the last 16 years, I have not slept the same,' Berry said. 'I've not had a good night's sleep for 16 years because of that maternal instinct and that mother's constant worry and care and concern for her children. Halle Berry and Van Hunt have been in a relationship for the past 5-years and the Oscar-winning actress' boyfriend has already proposed to her. The Monster's Ball star and Hunt made their joint appearance on Today's Jenna and Friends, where the latter claimed that though he has already popped the big question, Berry has let it float, with no answer yet. In response to the musician's complaint, Berry went on to state the duo's previous marriages and how they have gone in vain. Hunt also requested the talk show host to encourage the actress to say yes to him. Van Hunt's proposal to Halle Berry While making an appearance on Jenna and Friends along with his girlfriend, the Seconds of Pleasure crooner revealed, "I put out the proposal, and it's still on hold as you can see.' He further added, "It's just out there floating. You know, maybe you can encourage her." Meanwhile, Berry went on to say, 'Well, I've been married three times. Van has been married once, and so no, we don't feel like we have to get married to validate our love in any way. We don't.' As for the couple's previous relationships, the Never Let Go star was married to David Justice, Eric Benet, and Olivier Martinez. She went on to reveal that despite the hesitation, she does see herself walking down the aisle one more time and tying the knot with Hunt. The singer, too, was previously married. Berry went on to explain, "I think we will get married just because, out of the people I've been married to, this is the person I should have married.' She continued, 'And I feel like I should, we should get married, but it's not because we feel like we have to. I think it's something that we would like to do just because we want that expression." Los Angeles: Hollywood actress Halle Berry didn't eat "anything all day" in the build-up to the Met Gala. The 58-year-old actress arrived at fashion's biggest event but admitted that after leaving the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. She treated herself to some fried chicken after starving herself all day so that she could fit into her somewhat revealing LaQuan Smith dress, reports 'Female First UK'. She told E! News, "I haven't eaten anything all day, trying to wear this dress. They told me I could have a little treat for myself, and come here and get some Cane's chicken. So, I'm like, yes, I'm there'. As per 'Female First UK', the Academy Award-winning star was then asked when she was left most "star-struck" during the evening and revealed that her "jaw dropped" when she got to witness a performance given by 'Isn't She Lovely' crooner Stevie Wonder. She said: "I didn't know this would happen but Stevie Wonder performed tonight, and that was just a jaw-dropping moment, I had no idea that I would get to see it like that. He has such a good voice, it was just a real treat'. The 'Never Let Go' actress was dressed in a LaQuan original and explained that her personal "highlight" of the night came when she got to see several others wearing clothes also designed by him, more than a decade after she started working with the luxury fashion brand founder. She added, "I think seeing everybody out looking so dandy-ish and I think it was really special that I went with LaQuan , he designed my dress, I was his muse. To see him shine tonight and see his creations come to life on all the people he dressed was really special. It was so fun and so easy'. 'He showed me some sketches. I chose two that I really liked, so he made two dresses. The dresses were gorgeous. I could hardly choose. I asked LaQuan, 'Which one would you like me to wear?' So, I chose his favourite', she added.
