New Era to produce apparel and headwear for all 30 MLS clubs across the U.S. and Canada BUFFALO, N.Y., June 5, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- New Era Cap, LLC, and Major League Soccer (MLS) today announced an agreement that enshrines New Era Cap as the Official On-Field Cap of MLS and grants the international sports and lifestyle brand with rights to produce and distribute headwear and apparel for all 30 MLS clubs including San Diego FC, which made its debut in 2025. Reigning NL Rookie of the Year Paul Skenes signs on as New Era Cap ambassador, launching new veterans-focused charitable partnership BUFFALO, N.Y., May 15, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- New Era Cap, LLC, the international sports and lifestyle brand and exclusive on-field headwear provider for Major League Baseball (MLB), has signed Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Paul Skenes as an ambassador for the 2025 MLB season. Through their new ambassador partnership, New Era and Skenes will launch a charitable initiative to support America's veterans. For every strikeout the Pirates phenom throws this season, New Era Cap will donate $250 to a veterans-focused charity of his choosing. ESPN is currently projecting Skenes to throw 195 strikeouts during the 2025 regular season — which would lead to New Era Cap donating $48,750 to veterans organizations. In addition to the end-of-season charitable contribution, New Era will provide Skenes' four military guests at every home game with New Era Pirates caps.
