Taking to Instagram, Carey shared a video of her applying lip gloss in a car as a song played in the background on the radio. The car's engine gets louder before the video goes dark, and Friday, June 6, tease had fans flooding her comments section with excitement and hope that new music is coming. After all, Carey hasn't dropped a new album in seven years. Her last one was Caution, which was released in 2018.
'LITERALLY SCREAMING,' wrote one fan, while another exclaimed, 'Not all heroes wear capes.' Several comments made it clear that fans are ready to hear a new Carey tune.
