Zoo New York hosting Earth Day celebration Saturday
WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWTI) – Zoo New York in Watertown is hosting an Earth Day celebration on Saturday, April 19.
The event will start at 11 a.m. and will feature vendors, crafts, games, and plenty of educational displays and demonstrations.
ABC50 to help at Zoo New York as part of 2024 Founder's Day of Caring
The zoo will welcome guests like Newt the Turtle Tracking Dog and Perry Ground, a traditional storyteller from the Onondaga Turtle Clan, as special guests. Zookeepers will also be giving presentations with animal meet and greets and biofacts. Guests can also hand-feed the zoo's elk herd for an additional cost.
