Tata Curvv EV and Nexon EV get lifetime warranty

Tata Nexon EV is one of the most popular electric vehicles in India. The Curvv EV is the most affordable coupe electric SUV in the market. Check Offers Tata Motors is preparing to launch a lifetime warranty with unlimited kilometres for the Curvv EV and Nexon EV. The 'lifetime' here refers to the period of fifteen years from the first date of registration of the vehicle at the local RTO office. Even the existing owners will be able to get these benefits. It is important to note that owners of only the 45 kWh Nexon EV are eligible for this benefit. For the second registration onwards, the warranty will be 8 years or 1,60,000 km for the Nexon EV 45 and Curvv EV. Tata says that all the owners after the first one need to inform the brand about the ownership transfer or else the battery warranty will not be offered. Tata unlimited warranty terms and conditions Tata Motors has set a few terms and conditions that the buyer will have to follow to retain his or her unlimited warranty. The vehicle must be serviced or repaired at an authorised service station, following the maintenance schedule recommended by TATA Passenger Electric Mobility Limited. Registration of the vehicle should be done in the name of private individuals. Registrations made under the company perk car scheme for employees, including subsequent transfers of the vehicle to the same employee. The warranty shall be null and void if the vehicle is transferred or sold to any third party. The vehicle must maintain an active & uninterrupted connection throughout the entire ownership period. The battery must be free from any physical damage or tampering. In case of replacement/repair of HV battery during the warranty period, will bring the energy capacity of the HV battery to a value equal to steady state SOH before battery replacement or at 80 per cent, whichever is higher. However, there is a slight difference where the second registration onwards, the owner gets 10 years or 2 lakh kilometres of warranty. The Tata Nexon EV 's 45 kWh variants have received a 5 star crash test rating from Bharat NCAP , mirroring the performance of other models in the lineup. The Nexon EV 45 achieved high scores in various assessments, demonstrating its commitment to safety. The Bharat NCAP extended the 5-star crash test rating to include the Nexon EV's 45 kWh variants, which were later additions to the model range. In the adult occupant protection segment, the Nexon EV scored 29.86 points out of a possible 32.00. The vehicle achieved 14.26 points out of 16.00 in the frontal offset deformable barrier test. It also earned 15.60 points out of 16.00 in the side movable deformable barrier test. For child occupant protection, the electric SUV secured 44.95 points out of 49. These results indicate a high level of safety for child passengers. The Tata Nexon EV 45 is equipped with a 45 kWh battery pack.

Tata Nexon EV is offered with two battery pack options. Tata Nexon EV is one of the most popular electric vehicles in the Indian market. Bharat NCAP has announced that the 5-star crash test rating has been extended to Nexon EV's 45 kWh variants as well, which were added later on to the lineup. It scored a five-star rating in both adult occupant protection and child occupant protection segments. The electric SUV, which is the bestselling electric car in India since its launch, has scored 29.86 points out of 32.00 points in the adult occupant protection segment. It scored 14.26 points out of 16.00 points in the frontal offset deformable barrier test, while in the side movable deformable barrier test, the SUV scored 15.60 points out of 16.00 points. In the child occupant protection segment, the SUV scored 44.95 points out of 49 points. Tata Nexon EV 45 As the name suggests, the Nexon EV 45 comes with a 45 kWh battery pack. We managed to squeeze around 330 km on a single charge on the Nexon EV 45. However, it is important to note that the driving range does depend on the driving habits, so someone else might be able to extract more range, especially if there are downhill roads involved and if the driver has a heavy foot, or if there is an uphill, then the range will fall. Apart from the battery pack, the Nexon EV 45 also gets additional features. There is a panoramic sunroof that is only available with the 45 kWh battery pack is a nice addition, and there is also a frunk to store a few things under the hood. The electric motor drives the front wheels only. It puts out 142 bhp of max power and a peak torque output of 215 Nm. 0-100 kmph comes up in just 8.9 seconds.
