His remit includes guiding customers through all stages associated with adopting the Riverbed platform, from initial onboarding and integration to automation and broader expansion of services.
Key priorities for Kempt will be aligning technical expertise with clients' business objectives and ensuring the enhancement of digital experiences, operational efficiencies, and delivery of measurable returns on investment. Background and experience
Nick Kempt brings over five years of experience at Riverbed, having previously served as Director of Strategic Accounts for the APJ region. He also has direct experience working with large public sector enterprise organisations, focusing on how information technology teams deliver business and technical value. Customer relationships have been a notable focus, with the company describing Kempt as a "trusted business partner" able to help enterprise clients progress through digital transformation projects.
Riverbed stated that Kempt's leadership will be important for reinforcing its position across Australia and the Asia Pacific and Japan region, particularly as the company aims to strengthen its regional leadership and further adoption of its AI-driven solutions.

"His ability to cultivate meaningful, long-term customer relationships while delivering tangible business outcomes positions him well to lead the team and elevate our customer success and services strategy in the region."
Crighton highlighted Kempt's track record in understanding both customer requirements and the broader market, noting the strategic importance of matching client services with value delivery.
Customer engagement and outlook
According to Riverbed, Kempt's broader responsibilities will centre on optimising the delivery of professional services and ensuring strong collaborative ties internally and externally, both regionally and on a global level. This extends to team leadership, driving solution optimisation, and supporting customers' IT consolidation and automation efforts through AI at scale. "I'm thrilled to take on this new role in the APJ region. As we continue to help customers consolidate their IT environments and implement AI at scale, Riverbed's latest AI capabilities make it easier for organisations to manage AIOps and transition from reactive to predictive IT operations," said Nick Kempt, Director of Customer Success and Professional Services, APJ, at Riverbed. "Our customers are well-positioned to lead in their industries through the adoption of our technologies and services, and I'm excited to lead and collaborate with the team to support them in driving this success."
The company reported that Kempt is expected to focus on ensuring ongoing success for enterprise customers in the region, by helping them derive greater value from the Riverbed observability platform and facilitating the wider adoption of AI-powered IT operations to improve business outcomes.
