Analysis: West Ham 1-2 Nottingham Forest
In the 58th minute of this near two-hour epic, Graham Potter made a quadruple change and it worked - West Ham became much more flowing and Bowen and Mohammed Kudus flanked Niclas Fullkrug to great effect, and the change of shape from 5-3-2 to 3-4-3 caused Forest serious raises the question as to why Graham Potter left all those attackers on the bench, naming nine defensive-minded players in the starting meant West Ham struggled to respond to going behind early on. And soon after the change was made, Forest scored their second goal which proved is no question that West Ham need to rebuild in the summer, and Potter can only be judged at London Stadium once he has a full he could help his cause, and win over a few Hammers fans already tired of their poor form, by taking off the handbrake and letting the attackers free.

Niclas Fullkrug lambasts West Ham teammates after conceding late to tie with Southampton
West Ham striker Niclas Fullkrug offered a brutal assessment of the Hammers' 1-1 draw with Southampton, angrily highlighting a 'mindset problem' in the squad. The German assisted Jarrod Bowen's opener shortly after half-time, but was left frustrated as his teammates eased off the gas, leaving the door open for the Saints to equalise in injury time through Lesley Ugochukwu, equaling Derby County's Premier League points record of 11. Fullkrug seethed as he dissected the performance for Sky Sports. He said: 'I am not disappointed, just angry with what we did after the goal. It is a mindset problem. It was very difficult to bring the boys back to push on. 'We tried, but didn't have the ability or the motivation to push up again. I am very angry that we played like this because we had some minutes where we showed what we can do against an opponent like that at home. '[In the second half] we showed we can have very good possession, if we go in behind and have chances to score again. but the motivation? That angers me more.' Fullkrug, whose minutes have been limited by injuries this season, felt that West Ham grew lazy after scoring. He continued: 'It is not the first time we score a goal, then at the next goal kick we shoot the ball long. We don't try to play football anymore. We don't push up anymore. We just sink, and that is not the way we want to play.' '[The first 45 minutes were] not perfect, but we tried to play with possession, create chances, and score a goal. 'Then we score a goal, and after that half of the team tried to score again and the other half of the team just tried to defend very deep. That is not the way it works. 'We have to have togetherness, to have the idea of where we want to go and what we want to do. The coach is very clear of what he wants, but everyone has to do it.' Manager Graham Potter agreed with Fullkrug's assessment. 'You look at a Premier League football game, you have to play well, your players have to play well. There are probably not too many who can say, 'yeah, I had a really good game today.' 'Collectively, we all have to look at that and find out the reasons. I think it is a day where we have to be honest and say no, that isn't good enough. We have to do better.' The draw leaves West Ham sat 16th, at risk of being leapfrogged by Wolves.

'We were not able to sustain the level of the first half performance'
Graham Potter spoke to BBC Match of the Day after West Ham's draw against Tottenham: "It was a decent performance from us, first half especially was strong."Spurs scored against the run of play. We started on the front foot and were very positive, pressed well, pressed high. It was a derby so we wanted to make it that way. A lot of what did in the first half was positive."It was a body blow to concede because it was a mistake from nowhere but credit to the players because them came back into the game and deservedly equalised."Disappointed in the second half because we weren't able to sustain that level of performance."We had some opportunities, probably not that much but a decent, solid performance."On a scrappy contest: "Start-stop, a derby so there were challenges, it was competitive. Spurs condense the pitch when you have the ball so not easy to sustain possession and have good attacks. But the boys tried. It was a tight game."On Niclas Fullkrug: "He linked up well, gave us a focal point at the top of the pitch. The positive for us is that we scored a really good goal. Jarrod [Bowen] attacked the back line well."Niclas played his part in a decent performance, certainly first half and gives us a longer option as well."

Saturday Acca Betting Tips: Premier League Best Bets & 89/1 Accumulator
Saturday's Premier League Predictions With four Premier League sides in FA Cup action this weekend, there's the chance for several others to put the pressure on those European places. Chelsea and Newcastle both have the opportunity to move into the top four with wins, while Liverpool need just one point to secure their 20th league title. The final relegation spot could also be confirmed with Ipswich set to join Southampton and Leicester back in the Championship if they don't beat Newcastle. We've compiled a four-fold from the Saturday 3pm kick-offs in the top flight that returns at 89/1 with Bet365 and comparable odds on other football betting sites. Brighton vs West Ham Prediction Still with a chance of qualifying for European football next season, Brighton will see their home game with West Ham as a great opportunity to get three more points on the board. The Hammers are without a win in their last six, drawing three and losing three against Newcastle, Wolves and Liverpool. Brighton aren't in the best form either, with an identical record from their last six, with their defeats coming against Aston Villa, Crystal Palace and Brentford. West Ham striker Niclas Fullkrug admitted that his side had a 'mindset problem' following their 1-1 draw with already relegated Southampton last weekend, and manager Graham Potter would love to see a response against his former side. The last two meetings between these sides have finished all square, and we think this one could go the same way as two out-of-form sides go head-to-head. Newcastle vs Ipswich Prediction Following their 4-1 drubbing by Aston Villa last weekend, Newcastle will be desperate to get back to winning ways and move back into the top four. They will be buoyed by the news that manager Eddie Howe will be back in the dugout after recovering from pneumonia, and they should make easy work of Ipswich, who will be relegated back to the Championship if they don't win or West Ham avoid defeat against Brighton. Ipswich have won just one of their last 10 matches, with the 2-1 victory at Bournemouth only their fourth league win of the season. The other wins came against Tottenham, Wolves and Chelsea, so can they cause another shock and win at St James' Park? They were beaten 4-0 by the Magpies earlier in the season, when Alexander Isak scored three and Jacob Murphy completed the scoring. Southampton vs Fulham Prediction Southampton still need a point if they are to avoid being relegated from the Premier League with the competition's lowest-ever points total, and things don't get much easier for them this weekend as they face Fulham at St Mary's. They picked up a point last weekend, with a 1-1 draw against West Ham, and the same result again would take their points tally for the season to 12 from 33 games. Fulham sit 11 places and 37 points above them, and a win would move them up to eighth place, but they have lost five of their last seven in all competitions, so they will need to improve on recent form. Southampton have lost 13 Premier League home games this season, including 10 of their last 11, drawing the other one. The only sides to lose 14 or more home matches in a single season were Sunderland in 2002-03 (14), Sunderland in 2005-06 (14), Huddersfield in 2018-19 (14), and Watford in 2021-22 (15). Wolves vs Leicester Prediction Now that their relegation has been confirmed and the pressure is off, can Leicester City finally win for the first time in 12 games? Ruud van Nistelrooy's side have drawn one and lost the other 10 of the last 11 games and scored just three goals along the way. They have failed to score in a league-high 15 league matches so far and only failed to do so more times in the 2001-02 campaign, when they played out 19 games without scoring. They have also kept just one clean sheet in the Premier League this season and have conceded in each of their last 26 matches, so Wolves should fancy their chances of a few goals. Betting sites are offering just 4/7 on a Wolves win, so it's time to get creative. Striker Matheus Cunha has scored 14 league goals this season and he is chasing 17 to beat the previous record of the most goals in a Premier League season by a Wolves player, set by Raul Jimenez during the 2019-20 season. Betting on football can become addictive, so it's vital bettors take precautions to keep themselves safe when using gambling sites. Every licensed UK betting site should offer safer gambling tools, such as deposit limits, time outs, self-assessment questionnaires and self-exclusion options. These are free tools to help punters stay in control and they are available at various gambling sites, including online bookmakers, casino sites, slot sites, and poker sites. These operators may offer punters free bets or casino bonuses from time to time, but it's important to treat these rewards with caution.
