Horseheads School Board candidate arrested after disturbance in Southport
SOUTHPORT, N.Y. (WETM) – A Horseheads woman has been arrested on various charges after an incident that occurred on Sunday in the Town of Southport.
Nicole D. Tirgari-White, 36, was arrested on Sunday, May 18, on the charges of harassment in the second degree and endangering the welfare of a child, as stated in a release from the Chemung County Sheriff's Office.

Officials say Tirgari-White was arrested on the charges following a disturbance in Southport. Tirgari-White is currently a candidate for a seat on the Horseheads School Board, which will be voted upon on Tuesday, May 20.
Following her arrest, officials say she was issued an appearance ticket to appear in court at a later date.
